I've been having issues with these "Pending Checkouts" for over a month now that have made it impossible for me to upgrade my account to premium.

I've contacted support about it several times, each time they tell me they've done something to my account -- which normally results in XX amount of free Premium days -- but so far nothing long-term has been done to solve the issue. I've also researched this on the Crunchyroll knowledge base and forums, and was only able to find this one discussion about the Pending Checkouts issue: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-923333/pending-checkout
However, the solution to that issue was not made public.

I'm hoping that by posting it here, I can finally get this issue taken care of once and for all, and I hope that whatever the solution may be, it's something that can be made publicly available so that no one else has to deal with the these headaches ever again.

Full issue description:

What's happening here is that every time I try to upgrade/renew my Premium account status, I get told I have "Pending Checkouts". I'm unable to view these alleged checkouts, there are no links to view a "pending checkouts" page, and I'm unable to upgrade my account until the "pending checkouts" have been resolved. When get to the checkout page, it redirects me to the Premium Membership comparison page with the "You have pending checkouts" message at the top of the page as shown in the attached screenshot.

I've updated all of my credit card information, tried using different cards, cleared my browser's cache, and even tried using different browsers to see if this would fix the issue (Chrome and Firefox). None of these solutions has had any impact on the issue.

Additionally, I've tried logging in through my phone ( running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) to see if I could upgrade that way. Unfortunately, whenever I tap the "Upgrade to Premium" button on my phone it says I've already used my free trial -- which is technically not wrong, but I was not trying to use a free trial so I'm not sure why that message was popping up -- and am unable to continue on with the upgrade process.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, and deleting all local data, all with no luck.

I'm at my wits end by this point and have no idea what to do. It's frustrating because I'm trying to give Crunchyroll money but am being actively blocked from doing so.

Another month and no response from anyone at Crunchyroll. This is seriously beyond frustrating.

What you can do is getting a gift membership from the store and redeeming it on your own account. We have all 6 flavors available at the moment.

Thanks for the help. I'm happy to report I am a premium member now. :)

While I am a premium member now, I still don't know if that solved my original issue. Am I going to have to gift myself memberships each time I want to renew? Do you know what is causing all these weird issues on my account?

Send in a ticket the membership expires again and ask to be forwarded to me.
