I'd figure it out myself.

I rarely ask for advice, and if I ever do ask I head for the parents. They've done it all, so nothing that I'm about to do in life surprises them.

I've only asked for advice for legal and medical affairs. Other than that I usually do my own research.

Solo. I actually can't remember ever asking someone for guidance/advice. It would never occur to me to ask someone for help doing anything. I don't even like asking for small favors.

When it comes to technical issues, I do research. I'll post questions on forums, and ask people, etc. When it comes to personal issues, I go with, "what is the right thing to do?" I definitely will not go with, "How do I get over on him/her?"

A lot of times, I miss opportunities because of this, but I feel good about myself, and I can look myself in the mirror and feel no shame.

EDIT:

For clarification, here are two examples of "technical issues":

1) Computer help.

2) The new Paid Sick Leave law in California.

Bonus example:

3) Other labor related laws.

used to ask for advice but figured i was better off being a soloist

I ask questions. All the fucking time. Especially to my teachers but my friends and classmates thanks me for it since they were just as lost if not more than me. And, with these politicians that all of them suck balls, u damn sure better ask questions.

Most of the time I try to do things on my own. Though I will ask for advice every now and again.

Solo in game and out.

It's easy to solo and figure stuff out in-game. When out, if I ever happen to make a mistake, I'll just look and around and cover it up quickly before anyone notices and act like nothing ever happened.

It depends actually. But I don't ask for advice from my family members. Lol.

I will either do it all myself or die trying, cause i would probably die trying to ask someone for advice ;-;

If it's IRL problems then I always ask for advice. People may or may not have been in the same situation as me. Get their opinions on the matter and I usually only ask from my friends that I've known for years and trust with sensitive info.

I prefer to allow myself time to tackle issues alone. I am usually up for the challenge, but if the matter is too important or I know I have given it my all I have no problem asking for help or advice. Sometimes an outside perspective is all that is needed

Only if I'm about to die.
