What's with these blatantly misleading Windows 10 apps appearing in the Windows app store and actually charging money for them. It's the same app published under 2 different companies, both of whom publish other very sketchy apps. These are the first recommended hits that come up when searching the App Store in Windows 10, so could lead to people getting burned or worse since I doubt there was any high quality coding used for these.

[insert joke about the official apps also not containing any] ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌

These should probably be reported as misleading but this should also motivate Crunchyroll into releasing a legit Windows 10 app instead of just the Windows Phone app.

Moving this to Site Support as we moderators can't really do anything about this but the "higher ups" can.

I helped report the Crunchyroll -Popular Anime to Microsoft
This is what the Crunchyroll - Anime permissions gives them
I didn't notice until now but when I checked Permissions from app it has permission to use your library, Pictures, Video, music and data on your external storage

Oddly enough, that actually makes perfect sense.
it's probably less to do with nefarious access to your data than it is about breaking Crunchyroll's TOS.

Being unofficial and, therefore, not subject to CR's official licensing, such an app would probably include the functionality to download content directly to your device. (Dodgy iPlayer and YouTube apps tend to have the same functionality)
And external storage is often a good place for stuff like that.
