I want to read manga offline on my iphone, but I can't find any way to do this. Before, (illegal site) had the option to download a manga on your phone but it seems like they took that option away in their last update (?). So I'm wondering if you know any other ways to read manga offline on your phone? the reason is that I'd like to be able to read manga even though I don't always have access to the internet.

Sorry, we only have an online reader. In order to offer a permanent copy different licenses are required, which would be a lot more expensive.

What about a temporary copy? The Marvel Unlimited streaming app lets you download 12 comics at a time for offline reading, but they're only available as long as your subscription is in effect, and you have to delete one to download another one.

the only legal way would be buying the manga. i know Amazon offers some of them as kindle version. Google Play might have it too, or you could use official apps that sell digital manga.

Keep in mind Marvel doesn't have to license from themselves.

Also, unlike the way manga works, Marvel owns those titles lock, stock, & barrel.

Sadly, this restriction is what keeps me from using CR Manga often, if at all.

The ability to have chapters stored locally to my iPad is pretty much essential to me. Even just for general reading but especially when trying to slip through earlier chapters to look up specific points. I need to be able to turn pages and have the only limit be page rendering speed, not page download speed.

Also, sometimes I want to be able to read (manga and otherwise) when not in a decent area for data. Journey through a tunnel, anyone? Family members in places with crappy reception who don't have the same geeky decent broadband I do, and I need something to read when they're asleep?
It can't be just me. And it's hardly an unreasonable requirement.

As such, my manga reading is restricted to things bought through Kindle/Bookwalker.etc or... less official apps that utilise less official sites but actually allow offline caching of chapters.
