I tell people I'm usually wrong beforehand (even if I know I'm right). So when I'm right, people are usually like "I guess you were actually right". And when I'm wrong, they blame themselves because I already warned them that I'm usually wrong.

I have a short temper, I suck at arguing, and I hate admitting I'm wrong... It's... not a good combination of traits.

I normally do not have a problem with stepping up to the plate when I have made a mistake. I only tend to become defensive when someone is overly confrontational about it.

If I'm wrong, I'll admit it ... but I'll need to see the irrefutable proof I'm wrong.

Depends what I'm wrong about, if I seriously thought I was right about something and tried to prove strongly that I was right then I was actually wrong I would be too embarrassed to admit I was wrong. If it was something tiny like saying the wrong date of what it was today then I would admit it no problem.

I'll end up apologizing when I'm wrong, which isn't often since I try to get unbiased info on subjects but there are times I screw up by mixing two different topics. lmao

There is this one loony person on Facebook who I had a discussion with about same sex marriage and all that and he said because he's not religious and knows the truth about the bible, god, and religion that he is not wrong. I told him he needs to be locked away.

It depends. I might apologize, but if I don't care for my fellow debater I'll throw in a quick agreement to save my pride.

i have always wondered what does one do with a pride?can't eat it for sure, nor does it warm you on cold winter nights..and pride tends to make people go in "all high and mighty"- mode.o.o

I think Ran answered pretty well in my stead, but to see the virtues of pride just think of it as synonymous with self confidence. Sure if you have too much it might look like egotism, but I guess that's up to how the person presents themselves.

Yeah he did answer pretty well and i hope he comes back soon.Being banned is not nice. Truly,if you have too much of anything be it pride, passion or whatever you will get your hands burned eventually.Everything in decent portions.^^

Being wrong is like being guilty. Never admit it and hope they have little evidence of their own.

I wonder what it was about.

I would be a tsundere of being wrong essentially

Its very rare that I would openly admit I was wrong.

Very very very rare.
