I would not cause the extinction of any species as they are all valuable parts of the ecosystem, and losing just one of them would disrupt that system leading to some pretty shitty consequences.

Flies and mosquitoes...

While I know they might be necessary for the ecosystem, I just have a phobia of house flies due to a horrible experience with an infestation in my bathroom... It looked like they were mutating and it was.... horrible!! As for mosquitoes, well, I think it's obvious!

The irony that so many people are listing spiders and mosquitoes when spiders are one of the creatures that prey on mosquitoes.

Actually, that's not true. Dozens of species have gone extinct over the past few hundred years alone, whether to loss of habitat, climate changes, or hunting, and the ecosystem has remained largely unaffected. The loss of a single species is insignificant on a larger scale. In fact, many scientists have stated that if mosquitoes were to go extinct, everything would be unaffected as they play no real role in the ecosystem. It would take multiple species going extinct at once to have a measurable impact on the world. However, if humanity were to disappear, that would have a large impact on the ecosystem. A positive one. Hence why my two choices for the thread topic are Humanity and Primates. Humanity because their absence would provide nature an opportunity to replenish and thrive again, and Primates so no intelligent species can muck things up for a very long while.

Because Intelligence is the problem here...It's not retarded idiots who screw up, or the fact that the human race is too big, or even simply just the ways in which we do things could be drastically improved.

But in any case, I don't wish for any species based destruction, instead, I wish to INTRODUCE some creatures

Deities and MOTHER FUCKEN DRAGONS!!!!!!

Done.
