Hi guys :)

Long time no see.

I had some issues for the last couple of months, but now I'm starting to get my self up after my house

got burgled on my birthday.

So, let me get to the question that I want to ask here:

Does the Full Metal Alchemist series have a time skip ?

The first series that aired does with the movie. The series itself does now. Rather it is pretty natural, if you count growing a foot is natural.

I'm sorry, I didn't understand.

I know that there are 2 anime series, Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which one has a time skip ?

And when you say the series does, do you mean the manga ?

Also, why are you counting the movies ?

Are they canon ?

Well technically there are two.

One at the very beginning and one at the very end.

There are none during the series though.

One timeskip between the loss of their limbs and applying to military service, the second between the defeat of the big-bad and the montage of families.

Yes. Although you can really more just consider them a prologue and an epilogue though.

There is no major timeskip that happens during the story.

Because this thread is kind of confusing:

Fullmetal Alchemist (the anime): Prologue (mom dies, limbs lost)... time skip a few years so boys can grow up a bit... Vast Majority of series happens... time skip... Movie that finishes up the story.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and also Manga: Prologue (mom dies, limbs lost)... time skip a few years so boys can grow up a bit... Vast Majority of series happens... time skip a couple years... epilogue (so you can see who marries who and such)
