So like hear me out.

So if a girl walked up to me and was like "Hey I think your attractive and I want to talk to you" (which that would be a incredible moment) and if I did the very thing almost every female would do and be like "Ew, Gross! What are you a creeper?! I don't even know you!" People would most likely think of me as the bad guy.

But then If I walked up to the girl and said that very thing "Hey I think your attractive and I wanted to talk with you" and then she reacts the same way, then people would most likely make me out to be the bad guy still.

Why is that?

Hi, Girl perspective here

It's a preconceived notion in society (and more so in certain cultures) that a girl "shouldn't" be that forward with a guy, and the guy "should" be gentle in turning a girl down in the case that a girl does make an advance. It's kind of like that weird "guys should never hit a girl" idea. Well, if she's beating you with a baton or slapping you for NO apparent reason, I don't see why you can't defend yourself. That "rule" can't apply to every situation.

So now, if girls made advances on you, a guy, it would be seen as her being easy, loose, or slutty. If a guy does it to a girl, he'd be seen as creepy. Both sides will have double standards even if you reverse the situation. The guy will be a creep or a fuckboy, or the girl would be a slutbag or thirsty.

Why is that? Because a forward approach is creepy. Now if anyone, guy or girl were to actually take the time and have a conversation, it wouldn't be as creepy. It also helps if they are attractive, because that is seen as less creepy. To actually accept that kind of approach is also creepy.

And anyone who actually says "Hey, I think you're attractive and I want to talk to you." out of nowhere is creepy. The person who receives this comment wasn't expecting it, doesn't know where that person came from, and is probably creeped out by the stalkerish comment.

Final statement: Change your approach technique.

So everyone doesn't talk to one another, no one loves each other because your f*cking society standards rule over you so your too ashamed to say a word to anyone and then no body gets married and then no babies are born and the human race dies off
, end of story.

Yup. Basically.

Population control tactic.

Yes, we are all ashamed to say a word to anyone and that's why the world will end. lol
Though I don't think that will stop people from babymaking. The whole point is to NOT make creepy babies.

Because of the notion women can't be aggressors, both sexual and interpersonal, or shouldn't be aggressors. There's also a power dynamic between men and women, as men are generally the stronger one, and are subservient to their natural urges. Personally, I think it bollocks.

It's called double standards. It's one of those things that are left from 2000 years of inequality between genders. I think it's going to take a lot of time to get rid of it.

Chill...I think that now , in this age, women can be as promiscuous as men, but they have to remember to tell the truth when they settle down.

Fucking men. They're all pigs and assholes.............yup........ no I'm actually being serious, just think about it for a second and maybe you'll understand

Well I thought about how you proved my point further, and your not stating anything instead insulting men generally when I was accused of generalizing women based on also a statement that you have not done... there's that! =D

For the sake of vulgarity, the following response will have some colorful language

Not sure what I proved for you.

The answer you're looking for is that women are fragile in nature since that is why they use it to their advantage, and if you deny their kindness that means you are simply an asshole, and if you try to be upfront with the intention of complimenting their looks, women have either one of two responses...... ahem.... fuck off you pig, or thank you. A thank you can be empty and meaningless, fuck off tells you everything.

Did that clarify anything for you? Or perhaps you were looking for something along the lines of sympathy for men?

I'm a man, I'm an asshole, and a pig, just like any other man. You might think you aren't, but in reality we all are. The sooner you accept this, the sooner you can realize what men are actually trying to accomplish. Since your question is focused on appearance, your answer will be straight forward and blunt.

If you want an answer that defends men, maybe don't bring up such a one sided question to be answered.

So yeah...... glad to be of service.

I am 90% sure most women (or men) do not say weird shit like "Ew get away from me!" unless your still in middle school or high school. Suprisingly enough, most people are nice enough to let the other go down easy, and if someone were to say something so offensive and mean, then that person is an asshat anyway and shouldn't be messed with. Just my two cents.
