If I knowingly mess up, I will admit it, albeit not right away sometimes.

Never. That's petty of someone to do that. Own up to your shit.

Never, if I've messed up that's all on me - but I don't tend to complian about it either. I will look how to make up for it or how to not do it again!

I'm sure that's happened before, most of the time because I thought I was right. That said I don't go around looking for someone else to blame, even if I know 100% it was their fault.

Blame is an interesting subject.

The real question is where is the line drawn?

I will accept blame for my own actions, but I will not always necessarily accept blame for the consequences in some regards.

For example. If I am doing my job at work, and the product I am making is late; I will accept the blame for being late, but not necessarily the reasons as to why, depending on what they are exactly. So if I was late, and the reason why the product was late was not due to me being slower than usual, but because I had to clean up the mess from the day before because SOMEONE ELSE didn't do THEIR job, I will shift the blame onto them in whatever way seems fair at the time.

So if John didn't wash the mixers properly, and I had to redo his job the next day just to be able to do mine; I will accept that my job was not done in time, but only due to very good reasons.

Others would call these reasons excuses.

I call those people stupid.

I don't know enough people to be able to blame someone for one of my mistakes. And even if I did make a mistake I would hate myself if I pinned the blame on someone else considering they'd probably get pissed off at me. It's lose-lose but it's my fault for making it that situation so I'd rather take all the blame than force someone else to take it for me.

Never. If I genuinely know I fucked up, then I'll man up and admit it.

Well my friends and I would tease each other all the time when we mess up. We'd say, "My mistake, your fault".

If I'm at fault, I'm taking the blame

I know a friend who does this, she literally said that the reason why she started doing badly at school was because of my influence? But I do well in school so wtf?

I'm no longer their friend

i think it's maturity when you already know how to take responsibility for your actions (:
