The price for rice is nice, so i eat it very often. It tastes really good, and goes with anything as well.

I would but I left rice for too long in my rice cooker and it went off. Even after cleaning it everything tasted like mold.
So I bleached it. Now everything tastes like bleach instead.
Never eating rice again.

I eat rice from time to time. Not every day, but probably at least once a week.

Crazy story, when I was getting tested for allergies getting all those "scratch tests" the Allergist freaked out because Rice was one of only two things that were "positive" on me meaning that I'm supposed to be allergic to it. The reason the Allergist freaked is because Rice is supposed to be a control - it's completely non-allergenic and should never turn positive on anyone! Needless to say that caused a whole battery of other tests since it was so unusual and unexpected.

I grew up having rice 6 days a week. The one day a week we didn't have it was when we had soup or macaroni or spaghetti or noodles or potatoes or cornmeal or steamed root vegetables. My step-father only called food a meal if rice was included so anything else no matter how substantial the portion was considered to be a snack. These days I have rice a few times a month. I prefer it to pasta or bread.

A few times growing up we had rice for breakfast. It could be dinner left overs or there was rice porridge made with milk, spices and sweetened. In the UK they have a version eaten cold and they call it rice pudding. They purposely use sticky rice that's sold as "pudding rice" to make it.

My favourite types of rice are brown long grain Italian rice and Basmati rice.
