What it says in the title basically, from any genre or country.

From the lack of female acts at festivals you'd think there isn't a lot but that's another topic.

Here's who I like, this is super long so it's under a spoiler

I don't typically like the female voice but I enjoy Paramore.

There aren't a ton of female vocalists that I'm really into, but my favorite female artist would probably be Dessa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U13DaFJq8ls

I'd say about 75% of the music I listen to is female artists or female fronted bands. Most of the ones I currently listen to are Japanese bands/artists although there are quite a few from your list I've always considered among my favorites...

Others I like...

As for Japanese acts...

I love The Pretty Reckless, but that's me. I never thought that lil Jenny Humphrey would go onto become a rock singer.

Kate Bush is far and away my favourite; I've been a fan for 30+ years. I also like Aimee Mann's solo work (not so much 'Til Tuesday').

I really liked "Bôa" They were a band from the UK. Female lead on the vocals abd all other band members male. They did the opening theme for "Serial experiments Lain" which is how i discovered them.
They did twoi great albums.

"Lily Allen" hey girly i know right? but i like her style.

"Tokyo girls style " (or "Tokyo Joshi Ryu") I love these girls. J pop of course. They have several albums. There were five members but currently four.

As for hip hop, "The lady of Rage" is the best female rapper i have heard. She was on Dre's "The Chronic" album a bit and down with Snoop Dogg and tha Dogg Pound.

Portishead, Broadcast, Garbage, Mazzy Star, Asobi Seksu, Deerhoof, Cibo Matto, salyu x salyu, Melt-Banana, Sloth Love Chunks, and Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton are some really good ones off the top of my head.
