I feel like I need the story behind the first part.

Alright.¯\_(-_-)_/¯. Here goes. I was seven. One Saturday morning I was sharpening a pencil. I had been drawing a pretty picture. I tripped over a coffee table and stabbed myself in the foot. I was fine when we pulled the pencil out of my foot. Cut to a week later. I'm limping through the hallways at school. I had to go to the nurses office. My mom was already at school because she had to take my sister on a fieldtrip. So The nurse is all like " he needs to go to the hospital". My mom takes me home and then to the hospital. I go in for minor surgery. The doctor stabs me with 10 numbing needles (needles with medicine in them to kill nerves). It hurt like crazy. The whole hospital must have heard me. The doctors all like "I'm new here and I suck at surgery so I can't find the lead". So I got to a foot doctor and in like 10 minutes he's like there it is and it's all over.

Sounds similar to what happened when I was in Japan.

I fell off my bike in May, one month after first arriving. I broke my left pinky right near the knuckle. A bad place for a break. I saw a doctor who assumed it was fine and splinted it up and told me to come back in a month. I did, and he unwrapped my hand only to find out I couldn't move my ring finger or pinky finger.

"Oh, it's just atrophy," the doctor told me. "Just keep working on moving it and you'll gain mobility back."

I didn't believe him, but I did it anyways. 3 months later and I still don't have mobility at all. Tasks are hard--I have a gimp left hand. Eventually I decide I'm going to a different doctor and I go to my shit doctor who keeps saying atrophy for a reference (cause that's how you do things in Japan). I go to another doctor who tells me my tendon fused to my bone when it healed, and that's why. Surgery is necessary for a resolution, and I agree to do this.

I check into the hospital the day before (because they hospitalized me for a week for just my hand). Day of surgery they tell me it'll be only 4 local anesthesia in my arm around the tourniquet (to cut off the circulation to my hand) and then 4 more in my wrist and near the place we need to do surgery. I guess they didn't expect my body not to have the same reaction to the drugs as a Japanese body does and I needed double. I was livid by the time I couldn't feel my arm, and it was only then that they agreed to give me the happy drugs (they didn't believe me that I'd need that).

The longest part of the surgery was waiting for my arm and hand to numb up. The surgery was fairly quick. They released my tendon form the bone and had me make a fist, which they made me confirm and verify (by having me look at my still cut-open hand and make a fist). Stitched me up and that was that.

Smashing my head so hard I end up hospitalised. I feel the previous four times are proof enough that I've had my fair share.

Having to watch Twilight. They made us watch it in school years ago because they wanted to show us a movie about how differences doesn´t matter when you have love. I don´t even know why they chose one of the worst movies ever made to teach us something so obvious
