Might as well change the clocks every single day if that's the case. No... just... no

far less energy needs to be put into moving clocks back-and-forth, and instead put into making time-travel possible - think BIG!

yeah, I could do fine without it.

Several states, California included seem to be getting ready to introduce legislation to do away with D.S.T. I'm for abolishing D.S.T.!!! I don't want to change my clock twice a year. One way, I lose an hour of sleep, the other way, I have to work an extra hour.... I hate it!

You're gonna sell sundial alarm clocks to everyone, and hook up all the subway trains to track the sun?

What I really hate is those extra traffic accidents for no good reason. I mean, what the heck.

(and yes setting those clocks is a b*ch)

Without going into details, DST causes plenty of hell at my job. We have a lot of automated systems and production is underway 24/7, so having the clocks magically gain or lose an hour twice a year wreaks all kinds of havoc.

So yeah, no love lost between myself and daylight savings time.

Daylight Savings Time must go! People don't get enough sleep as it is, and moving the clock back and forth every year is asinine. Changing the clock does not change the fact that, because of how long it takes most people to get to work these days, they are waking up in darkness and coming home in darkness.

The cost of lost sleep, stress, electricity usage, and general confusion (leading to accidents) is not worth keeping this absurd practice. If some people don't like it they can just get up earlier or later.
