It's sad to see that kids these days don't believe in anything. And the ones that do are muslims who go blow up everybody else who don't share their beliefs.

I'm a Christian. Southern Baptistish, to be specific. A conservative Protestant who holds to all the fundamentals of the faith (the Trinity, salvation by faith alone, etc.). I believe that the only way to be saved from sin and its ultimate consequence - Hell - is to trust in Christ alone for salvation.

I'm scared of the idea of a being that could grant eternal damnation.

Why it means the scum of the earth will get their just desserts one way or another. I would be terrified of a system that didn't punish the wicked for all eternity.

I was raised Non-Conformist Christian, basically means emo Christian HAHA!, but stopped at a young age when I realized what a waste of time it is. Life's too short to be worrying about what comes after, not that we have any answers to begin with. And really, if we all tried our hardest, we could make this life a heaven for everyone.
That said, I'm not so idealistic and naive to actually think that could happen. Humanity will never change, religion is a waste of time, and we should just get busy living or get busy dying.
But, I have a hope for what comes after. I hope that everyone, no matter who they are, gets the rest and peace they never found in life. Life is unfair, so maybe death should be? I guess I'll find out someday.

Was raised Roman Catholic. Still believe in some tenets of it.

Overall: Do I believe in God/Spiritual Being/Big Kahuna? Yes.

I like to think of God as something like Haruhi Suzumiya, always trolling around for kicks when he gets bored. And laughing whenever someone brings up about how the gays/Muslims/single mothers/poors are so UnChristian.

Think about it this way. This gives a being unprecedented power over his subjects. The reason we don't give the government power is because it can't handle this. What kind of being do you have to be to handle this power and not be corrupted by it? It's absurd. He could do this over any whim he chooses. I don't think we have evidence of what god is like, if there is a god, so who knows? Perhaps he sentences everyone to hell for not drinking 5 gallons of milk everyday.

I'd rather roll the dice with God's whim then let human trash go unpunished PV. I am only one man and can only be in one place at a time. And if I started now I would be old, grey, and crippled with age before I even punished a tenth of the people who deserve it .

Your desire for punishment of the wicked is so high that you'd rather have a God, despite no real evidence of him leaning either way in terms of morality? Chancy.

And I ask what evidence do you have as an atheist that a he doesn't exit and b can't be of a moral upright stance. The Burden of Proof works both ways PV. The proof of his good will towards humans is the very fact he made humanity capable of good and gave us free will.
