Learning to write in Romaji

Romaji is the way to write the Japanese language through the use of roman alphabets. I'm sure that everyone is somewhat familiar with this writing since a lot of people use it before they can actually write in hiragana/katakana/kanji.

The Japanese don't use spaces like English speakers do, but in romaji, you do. There's no one set rule for writing in romaji, since it is entirely up to the person who uses it. And most importantly, don't try and talk to a native Japanese speaker through the use of romajis. They will get confused, because they usually don't know how to pronounce the words you are giving them.

Learning to read in hiragana and katakana and kanji is the most important step in starting Japanese, but it's hard to force a group of people to hard-memorize this new and alien writing into their brains. Therefore, in the first stages of learning Japanese, I will only use romaji.

http://www.tokyowithkids.com/fyi/hiragana_chart.html ← I deleted my own list since I found this very useful site
If you scroll down, you'll also see sound combinations like Ki + Ya = Kya! (You know.. when girls scream)

Watashi wa(ha) Dan desu
I am Dan

Watashi no namae wa(ha) Dan desu
My name is Dan

Put spaces inbetween every word/particle just like in english.

That's why i give the users the sanity to speak only in romaji. More seirous learners can go ahead and completely memorize hiragana/katakana and kanji.

Watashi no namae wa Ryche desu.

How do you know if you need the (ha) after the wa?
Is it like in French where you use the ha for females and just wa for males? @_@

actually, it is spelled "ha" and pronounced "wa". The weird sound change only exists in the particle "ha".
