Why not both?

But if had to choose, I'd go with house cause I can alter it to my preference and more space.

im tired of apartments

Currently live in an apartment and love it. Groundskeeper/landscaping sprays for insects, grass gets done when I'm at work. Takes a load off.

Too many years (and bills/repair costs/upkeep costs) living in a house. I'm about to move into an apartment and already see the benefit between the amenities and the lack of upkeep costs.

House, I grew up in houses. The nearest I've gotten to a flat/apartment is now because I live in a house conversion. I'm not sure how I'd get comfortable in a low rise complex or even those high rises. I miss having a garden of my own. I'm not fond of huge houses with acre gardens either because they take too much effort to maintain.

I'd definitely take a house, but I'd rather rent it than own one so I don't have to bother with maintenance. The care free life is the one for me!

An apartment will do just fine. Simple and easy to tidy up, and I don't want to deal with gardening most of the time.

If I were old enough, tbh I'd probably live in an apartment. I'm too lazy to worry about keeping a yard and stuff

Ooh, that's tough. Both have their pros and cons.
If I HAD to choose though, I'd go with apartment.
