It's quite the question that I ask myself what is the best way to learn to burn fat when there's so many advertisements saying "oh wear this vibrating belt and you'll lose weight" or "drink this milkshake because it has a bunch of chemicals in it".

And now I ask what is the actual real effective way to burn fat?

My parents and I managed to loose 20-40 lbs easily (I went back from 170 to 150). We counted calories and worked out. I eat about 1300-1400 calories a day minus a few times I splurge.

Stay away from Trans fat, Saturated fat, and Carbohydrates. That is about it. Oh, eat less red meat too. White meat is healthier.

Eat/drink lots of oatmeal. It keeps your stomach feeling full, and helps flush out your insides.

Drink unsweetened real green tea, another toxin flusher.

Drink a shot of lemon-squeezed water or a shot of OJ first thing in the morning to boost metabolism.

Stick to poultry and fish, eggs, Legumes, and decrease your red meat intake if you want a hearty meal. Of course, don't forget your fruits and veggies!

Eat regularly, don't skip meals and snack time.

Cardio and weight training; start off slow, but focus on bringing your heart rate up, as well as build muscle to burn fat. Actually you might even gain more weight but it would be more muscle, so I'm assuming you meant to burn fat, not just weight.

If you want the serious answer most doctors will recommend that you join Weight Watchers or another support group for weight loss. Eat a balanced healthy diet, and exercise.

To lose weight you have to use more calories via exercise than you input by eating. This is easier if you eat foods that are high in fiber (it's filling), protein (takes longer to digest), and contain the necessary nutrients. To find out proper portion size to be sure you're getting the right amounts of everything go to My Plate - http://www.choosemyplate.gov/

Exercise doesn't just mean that 30 minutes you spend on a treadmill at the gym. It also means trying to move throughout the day so use a activity tracker such as a pedometer or fitbit to figure out if you're spending most of your time sitting like a bump on a log - and if you are, try to get up and walk around or move at least 5 minutes out of every hour all day. Find an exercise routine you enjoy - whether that be joining a sporting league to play soccer, running/jogging, riding a bike, or playing Zombies, Run! on your smart phone: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zombies-run!/id503519713?mt=8

Watching your kcal intake is 80% of losing weight

The rest you can fill up with a combination of cardio and weightlifting, or one of them.

Weightlifting is more effective imo though, because you keep burning after you're done for a little while
But cardio is never a bad thing to add to your workouts

Anything that talks about "toxins" or "cleansing" is just trying to take your money. That stuff is all snake oil.

Any "diet" that consists of nothing but shakes or other food you would not be interested in eating every day the rest of your life is pointless because once you reach your goal and then stop using their products your eating habits will put you right back where you started from. I've watched most of the women in my family yo-yo in weight with every new fad diet that came along. Sure they lose weight but it doesn't teach them to keep it off because it doesn't teach portion control or what a healthy diet actually is. So they gain everything back again usually with extra because they weren't being careful when they thought they were thin.

Also, any product that claims to "target" weight in a specific area of your body is a fake, once again just to take your money. Weight gain and loss go all over the body and you can't just target one place and try to make just that area thin.

Some diet pills and some diets themselves are very dangerous. My ex is a doctor who treated multiple patients that have no idea how close they came to dying because they got acidosis from the diet they were following, or who have had heart attacks or other issues from taking diet pills.

Exercise and then only eating when you are actually hungry (and stop eating when you become full).

Also exercise has health benefits beyond weight loss.

Do cardio excerises so like running, sports or jump jacks. Typically workouts that make your heart going. Also, mange your kcal in taken. The normal kcal intake is 2000, you can read nutrient facts on food items to know how many kcals you are consuming. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND downloading an app.

It's fine to have one cheat day in week. Stay away from trans fat. Try doing sereval small meals than eating big meals.

very easy. Eat nothing but yogurt, and have a juicer ready for daily use. No lie, its the truth, but you will have nothing for physical appearance and looking toned and fit. Also, obviously get your meats in there on occasion to give you more energy when you do workouts, and help your body recover.

But if you really want to lose weight, but still allow your body to look good, this is what Im currently doing.

Don't eat anything for 12 hours, train your mind to accept the feeling of hunger. Eat until you cannot eat anymore, no sugar, or crap, just mainly meat, starch, get a decent amount of sodium, hardy meals that will fill you up, get some sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, rice, stir fry. Even getting in veggies in. I eat whole stalks of broccoli, whole carrots, snap peas. Of course you have to be physically active, intake more calories than your body is use to, then you have to burn them off. I do a lot of physical activity, using my hands and upper body, constantly squating down, and getting up, and we're talking about 9 hours , drumming is another big workout, especially when I go for 3 hours, its sometimes physically and mentally exhausting, and I always feel extremely hungry afterwards so I know I have burned crazy calories.

So lets just say you literally need to be physically active for pretty much half the day if you plan on losing weight, but still looking good. If you just want to lose weight. Just fill your body with healthy health
