I see no one mentioned that earth moves in a wobbly circuit around the sun so there will be variations from time to time.

I haven't noticed anything. The sun looks the same to me.

Damn that bastard, Sun!

The hell does it think it is?

I propose we fight it.

I think you're going to need a smaller hash tag for that one to catch on.

You might have memories of an alternate dimension. The brightness and apparent color of the sun is one of a multitude of possible alternate memories related to something called The Mandela Effect that may or may not be indicative of alternate quantum dimensions.

Or maybe you are misremembering things.

I'm no science expert, but doesn't the Earth orbit elliptically around the sun? If so, wouldn't some periods during that orbit mean we'd be somewhat closer to the sun?

It's probably what I like to call "new-place vision."

When you stay in one place a while, things start to seem rather drab. Since you become so used to seeing it, you miss out on any charm it might have. When you go to a new place (or to a place you haven't been in a while) everything seems brighter, colors seem more vibrant, things seem cleaner, etc.

It is also possible you're just in a different car with a different tint and sun visor.

The sun gets brighter the more you stay indoors. I have no life, so the sun is blinding to me.

Its the same sun for a couple thousand years.

Every so often throwing a solar flare at us to wipe out a city/region/country

or an extinction level event that wipes 90% of all life off the planet

Now that should be interesting.

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
