Definitely some paranoid delusion going on here. Dude thinks every vehicle that drives by his home is part of a conspiracy. That his entire work place is wired up with police surveillance and that his camera system is being "remotely hacked". That the fire department is out to get him alongside the police. That his neighbours and coworkers are plotting against him and sending car thieves after him. That the local newspaper was out to get him. So on and so forth.

I don't doubt the local PD didn't like him and were harassing him ( as dick cops are want to do ) but that's a far cry from organizing what would be a rather complex and expensive murder conspiracy. Especially given how easy it would be to smear and dismiss him as a paranoid nutjob. Let alone that he knew anything so devastating to the department that they would pull a Sopranos style hit on him despite his social media warnings.

I mean, its much easier for US cops to just shoot someone and claim self defense / resisting arrest. Instead of stab them and torch their house. Which is like the most suspicious way possible to pull it off. Its a bizarre story for sure, but I'm thinking the truth of the matter is somewhere between the two extremes.

That woman is a serious tyrant. Putin is her hero... She'd be like, "the problem is that they took too long to remove him..."

The man is dead.... You call that paranoia? He knows who he pissed off. He knows they've been following him, has them on video doing it. Has video of off duty police officers walking past his house. Has video of people in his house, and nothing was stolen, but a section of video was deleted from his security camera..... And now he's dead.

Paranoid?

Him being dead doesn't mean the carpet cleaners were in on it. Or his coworkers. Or the newspaper. Or his neighbours. Or the fire department. Or that every city vehicle that drives by his place is there specifically for him. The guy meticulously watched his security cameras and linked any activity to a conspiracy against himself. That's paranoid delusion.

The police harassing him and him having paranoid delusions are not mutually exclusive positions.

^exactly that

The victim could be telling the complete truth, but the explanation that raises the least doubts is that the victim had mental health problems.

At this point, nothing should be ruled out though.

Saying the dude's entire town probably wasn't out to kill him is "weird shit"? -.-

Police harassment is one thing but a multi-department, multi-level conspiracy that involves his coworkers, neighbours, newspaper and a carpet cleaning company? Yet despite having that complex a conspiracy they figured the best course of action was stab him and burn his house down on the exact day he said they would? It can't be both a huge, complicated conspiracy and the clumsiest most suspicious homicide at the same time.

Given how easy it is for the blue wall to railroad someone into a prison cell or fill them full of holes because they "feared for their life" this seems like a pretty stupid solution after what was allegedly a 7 year multi-faceted campaign of harassment against him.

Yeah like a few others have said I don't buy it.

If he just quietly said "I think a police officer if trying to kill me" and he ended up dead then I'd buy it as I could see a corrupt cop thinking he could get away with it and bury the issue in paper work.

But for him to have posted this much about it and had so much "evidence" and to claim a conspiracy was going on at such a level is absurd. Another part that makes this suspicious is I didn't see anything about why this big conspiracy was out to kill him.

I mean if she "Knew" he was going to die then why not say whatever secret they are killing you for? Also why would they wait days to silence him only to do it in the showiest way possible? No one just posts this much crap about their "impending doom" and remains so damn vague about any real details and no comspracy this big would be so slopy in it's execution.

In fact I'm wondering if this man staged his own murder in order to validate his claim. There are some crazy nuts out there and this guy was already showing signs of paranoid delusions. It's not too far fetched that he might have himself killed to try to make people beleive him. Or maybe he was just a man so desperate for attention he tried to make a massive conspiracy around himself.

It's hard to say what's going through a single person's mind so I can't say anything for sure.

I know that it's popular these days to hate Police but despite what the media hypes up the police are NOT out to get us all. There are some bad and incompetent people in the force just like you'll find anywhere. But that doesn't make them all bad. Remember there are thousands of cops across the country. Even if you pull up a hundred cases of bad cops across the country that's still only the tiniest portion of all cops.

Now I'm not saying the police force coudln't use a few new regulations and some particularly bad areas don't need a little fixing. I'm just saying the police force as a whole doesn't deserve all this crap. They do put their lives on the line at times so the last we can do is at least try to be understanding.

I think there was multiple stab wounds?
Well about the camera video and some weird tapes, I dunno but they could for 1 do it for fun/a job/hatred of them spouting things about them etc? (becoming maybe a more personal problem that ended with well.. multiple stab wounds?)
But he never said a specific date did he, and that it happend on a more "random" date is more "proof"?
