No if a new season ever came out. He wouldn't watch it until the last episode is aired. The only anime I've seen him break his rule is with One Punch Man.

Ah, so you mean he's bugged by the week-to-week wait. I can understand that, as I prefer to wait and view at my own pace.

The last series I can recall viewing week to week was Seitokai Yakuindomo, because I knew it wouldn't have a continuing plot.

I do sometimes start to view popular series before the season is complete (often to avoid spoilers), but as with Gate now, that can leave me waiting for the final 1-2 episodes.

We aren't joking. It's not my only leisure activity, but it is my primary one. I just counted and right now I've got 20 simulcasts in my queue that I'm watching on Crunchyroll mostly weekly (um...make that 19 since it's been quite a few weeks since I bothered to watch Naruto Shippuden), and another five on Funimation. Now, in my case several of those are short shows, and I fit some watching in during my work commute. I know others who really do watch more, but I don't know them well enough to know just how they manage it.

Normally I just watch one at at time...

If one watches weekly simulcasts, 21 would be an average of 3 per day, which is a bit over an hour of viewing per night (and that's assuming none of the titles were short form anime).

I viewed 21 episodes (albeit from only 2 series) on Saturday alone, so I don't blink when someone says they are viewing 20+ series during a season.

I'm watching 14 currently. Once this season is over, it will probably be down to about 10-11 though. gotta take some time off and be more selective about what I watch this upcoming season. Not as much free time after April 1st.

I understand having the time (I have too much free time sometimes ) but I don't understand how you can find that many animes appealing enough to first start watching and then hold your interest long enough to keep watching. Juggling and keeping track of 19 seems pretty intense, I'm pretty amazed/freaked out by it...

Im currently watching 14 shows. 13 are simulcasts and one completed show. That's how I've been doing it lately so besides the airing shows I've chosen to follow , I always have one series that has been completed that I will watch.

My record is 23 diffrent series at the same time. I know I'm pathetic.....But this could go on for two months. It is all about time....It seems like before I end one another good one comes out? What to do? What to do? Can you believe my boyfriend requires time as well?

If I´m waiting for a weekly episode, then I can handle a maximum of 14, and if some of them lose my interest then I immediately drop them. When I watch a show that has already aired I prefer to only watch said show in order to fully appreciate the story, the characters, and maybe binge watch it if I really like it.

I try at least the first episode of most shows every season; my tastes are pretty varied so I don't usually end up watching many similar things concurrently, and I don't set the bar super high for what I keep watching--the appeal varies from "this is strongly keeping my interest and I actively look forward to it" (like Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju and Erased this season) to "I just need something moderately amusing to kill some time with." I watch most shorts out of curiosity and stick with most because even if I don't like them much it's not a big time commitment and it's something to add to my list (there are, however, shorts that I do drop.)

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by juggling and tracking. In terms of what to watch when, having queues in order by day of week a show airs makes it not much of an issue at all, so it's easy to see what's new that I haven't watched yet. I only regularly watch on Crunchy and Funi and keeping it simple is one of the reasons I don't make a lot of effort to follow shows elsewhere. I did watch One Punch Man on Hulu, but something has to be really compelling to get me away from CR and Funi.

Juggling can be a little bit of an issue when a lot of shows I watch come out on the same day, but I don't ever feel I have to watch something the very minute it's available and I tend to pretty naturally find my own rhythm in spacing them out. For example, Lovely Muco and GATE feel like Saturday morning shows to me, so I watch them then. Much as I love Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju, I'm often too tired to feel I can really enjoy it on Friday night, so I will often save it for Sunday evening when I can savor it best.

Pretty much I sit down on my couch, turn on my TV and Roku, see what's recent in my queue and there's usually something there that I feel like watching.

Currently watching 20 seasonal animes (would have been 21 but Kono Suba recently concluded). In addition to that, I am also watching 4 non-seasonal animes. Quite a lot, but having a fun time through it all.

I'm currently juggling about 7 different anime. Normally I'm binge watching one (either the whole series or a good chunk of it in one sitting) while watching one or two other shows week to week but at the moment I have three shows I'm jumping between depending on my mood and four that I'm watching simulcast.
Kind of loving the variety.
