Okay about what your saying i agree Jenner did this as a publicity stunt and yea i get
that some people with this condition dont get the help they need and that usually
nobody really wants to take it seriously but the way Jenner did it pissed me off.
The least he could have done was not air it on tv and have the whole freakin world
watch it as well as afterwards getting a new tv show to showcase her new lifestyle.
like i mean he could have actually done something to bring awareness without shoving
in peoples faces like he did by having it aired on the kardashian i mean i dont watch the
show but i still heard about this so at the end of the day im kinda just left feeling like he
took advantage but didnt actually bring awareness like he should have instead he pissed
off a large bunch of people and further obscured em.

Ah, celebrity culture. Where people can do the most mundane crap and probably make the front page of newspapers. I don't get the obsession with this woman. She had a sex change. So what? She sure as hell isn't the first person to do so, nor will she be the last. Why do people still care about this?

I just don't think it was anything special or worth mentioning over and over.
He got the sex change good for him, time to move on.

Because for reasons I cannot understand it's still considered controversial in america. Not that I can actually find any controversy mind you, just a couple of people being assholes about it.

And before you brush this off take a few moments to think are you proud of your body your temple?

My body is a body, not a temple. It's useful and at times it's contributed to pleasure. I take reasonably good (but not exceptionally good) care of it.

But just because I happen to have a pretty good experience with my body doesn't obligate anybody else to "enjoy the body they were given." I honestly don't see the value in passing judgment on people one has pretty limited personal knowledge about, who appear to be taking action that brings their body more in line with who they feel themselves to be,

Yeah, I guess I should apologize for being rude. I had a rough day, and I don't like people who type incorrect English.

I'm Sorry CK1West for bothering you and implying you were looking to be circlejerked. I do it too, so I can't really...

Temple? I prefer templum or a "consecrated space". As for why people aren't content with their own body I would say it's for the most part a learned thing.

That may be the case in more general instances of being un-content with one's body, but transgenderism is triggered by a specific disorder, it isn't learned at all.

Which means that gender identity is to an extent inner mind and whatnot and biological and not learned....to an extent.

In the case of this guy.
