A bowl of soup with your loved ones. The gentle look of your sleeping pet. The orange glow of setting sun.

There are lots of things that can invoke that feeling of warmth. What I'd like to know is---

What's your warmest memory?

Did it happen when you where a kid? Maybe it's something more recent?

Maybe it happened while you where with your Mage friend? yes?? YOU LIAR! (wish I was there...)

Whatever your warmest memory is, pleas feel free to post about it down below~

When I was going through a rough patch in life and having my best friend there for me. He didn't ask what was going on and just let me weep.

Lastly, being able to live back with my parents. I realized how much I loved and how I let moments slip by Doing anything with my family is warm memory.

Cuddling with my dog or my blanket lol.

When my father worked graveyard shifts I liked sleeping with my mom to make her feel safe.

I was outside one Summer afternoon, and it was like paradise. I was wearing a strapped shirt, with shorts, so the sun's warmth gently wrapped itself all over. Though the heat wasn't overbearing, it was just right. I was laying on a garden swing that had white canopy drapes, they brushed along my arm when the wind blew. A lot of various bird songs filled the blue sky, and there were butterflies fluttering about. There was also the sound of a gentle water fountain in the distance. It felt, for that moment, like I was on an entirely different planet. So warm and caring.

When one of my old friends would come over for a couple weeks at a time. We'd marathon anime, play loads of ddr, and generally just act silly while out. We were close enough to do everything together.

Watching Shakugan No Shana with my brother. (That's why it's my favorite anime. It's also the first one we watched after he moved back to the same state and was also the first anime that really got me into anime)

Rubbing my yorkie's belly each night before going to bed and singing him a song he always liked. (He's no longer with me but his memories are)

One of my earliest childhood memories of when I was between 1 and 2. I used to love laying on this black leather couch my parents had when I was a baby because it always felt nice and cool in the summer time. That's about the ONLY thing I can remember from being a baby. Well that and starring up at the Mobil above the bed that had these four things hanging down and being really pissed off because I couldn't reach them. I know I wanted to grab them and stick em in my mouth so I could see what they felt like. Those are the only memories I have of being a baby. Baby's put things in their mouths to not only taste them but to feel them and I remember being really mad because I wanted to know what they felt like.

Laying on a cot at my grandma's when I was a kid when me and my brother would spend the night.

Being in a warm bed when it's freezing cold outside.

So many warm pet memories. Too many to list.

Saving a kitten who was in the middle of the highway.

Rescuing bugs from my pets water bowl. I'm a big wuss and don't like to see hardly anything hurt. Fire ants and cockroaches are NOT on the list though. Neither are fleas. Hate those things. Bugs that sting suck too since I'm allergic but I don't like to kill them.

and many more........

Wow, sounds like you'll have a really awesome friendship. A true close friend is harder to find than a partner in life. At least I think so. Girlfriends/boyfriends will come and go at times but a true friend is for life. Cherish that friendship and if you haven't seen or talked to them in a while then make sure you reconnect with them every so often. We should all be so lucky as to have a friend like that.

Has to be the time when me and my best friend got stuck out in a canoe out on the water, probably about 8 years ago. We got pushed up against some reeds because it was too windy to paddle back to camp, so we just ended up staying there for what seemed like nothing, but it was actually like 4 hours. No food or water, just sitting in a conoe, acting like tribal men.

Don't ask me why, but it was one of the best times in my life, and we always mention it to eachother at times. A memory like that comes once in a lifetime. Warm, I guess you can say, because no matter what the situation was, we were completely fine and happy
