When one of my old friends would come over for a couple weeks at a time. We'd marathon anime, play loads of ddr, and generally just act silly while out. We were close enough to do everything together.

Wow, sounds like you'll have a really awesome friendship. A true close friend is harder to find than a partner in life. At least I think so. Girlfriends/boyfriends will come and go at times but a true friend is for life. Cherish that friendship and if you haven't seen or talked to them in a while then make sure you reconnect with them every so often. We should all be so lucky as to have a friend like that.

Ha. Save that when I got married and she got a boyfriend we barely spoke and then grew apart. I'm divorced now and she seems to be at that bored comfortability in her relationship, so we've started speaking again. Fingers crossed.

You're right, life long friends are amazing. Just look at Rhett and Link of GMM. Talk about friendship goals.

Spending time with my 3 online best friends. They were, literally, there when no one else was. And I owe them a lot.
But anyways, It was me and those 3 and we were just in a xbox party shooting the shit.
It makes me feel really happy when I think about it, a time when I didn't have bills to worry about and when I could just come home after a long day of work and boot up my xbox and see that they're online, join them and just have fun overall.

My parents used to have a dachshund named Daisy that I was pretty close to. Every time I would go visit them, she would literally jump up and down with excitement once she saw me. I remember one time, I was just laying outside and she fell asleep on my stomach. However, if she heard anyone or anything come to close she would bark...so I guess she was real protective of me as well. I was so sad when I heard that she died. I didn't wanna believe it.

Another warm memory was getting my youngest brother into some similar hobbies as mine....be it video games or sports. Whenever he did something he though was cool, beat a boss, or whatever, he would always come find me and tell me. I miss those days as well. He's in high school now, but we still talk like that sometimes.

Playing with my little buddy. He's since passed on but he's in a better place now.
(btw I'm talking about my dog not a person.)

- All the endless and silly conversations I had with a few of my closest friends during High School
- Drinking beer and really bonding with my father for the first time ever in my life (last summer when I was already 20)
- Waiting every year to watch the Harry Potter movies with my brother
- The one time our group of friends planned to go to a horror movie marathon at our local cinema and everyone but one cancelled
and it ended up being a nice bonding evening with that one friend.
- And when the person I had been helping and supporting emotionally for a few years sent a long heartfelt text message thanking
me for all my help.

Probably a lot more, but these were the first ones that came in my mind.
