My heart lies with the Belgium people.

Also, this is pretty much it for any Muslims in the States, because you know someone's going to seriously propose gassing them all. Cruz already wants police patrols and I'm sure Trump probably wants another Auschwitz.

ETA: I'm not advocating for violence in regards to Muslims. Most people are not like that.

This is a severe black day for my country. There are indications that more than 30 innocent people died and more than 200 people are injured at this moment. The news has been going on here since this morning.

it's sad that such horrible people exist. it's sad we can't all just come to accept and understand one another and appreciate our differences. most of all, it's sad that these crazy dirt bags will make people picture islam in a negative light. terrible that we as a society have to fear public places now. whether it be crazy gunmen or terrorists.

It's not your fault. Ignorance of the world at age 26 is to be expected. What I said was a play on an Islamic ideology, "If it has happened or will happen it is the will of God."

إن شاء الله‎ - InshaAllah meaning, if God wills it.

I myself do not personally subscribe to any one religious doctrine. You will have to read a lot more if you want to continue this conversation, son.

Says the guy who's 20.

I knew what it meant, I've heard it before while I was in country.

Yup and just a will of god to make them look at the world that way through mostly that religion (for now) and keeps spreading.
Just look how IS will stand for quite some while.

Even though I don't say muslims are but the connections that keeps this alive + religion overall.
And why so many become ex-muslim when they try to get more modern, and know if they go back like they used to they will have these thoughts that are quite "stone age" like.

What I said about age was a generalization, if it were not obvious enough, I've now explicitly stated it, yw.

It is a generalization which I do not consider myself part of, in case I had to clarify the obvious once again. I'm glad you understand what it means and now what I was saying. I may not be a muslim but I am more than willing to argue on their behalf in the face of ignorance and racism. kknp

I'm sorry but I'm not entirely sure what you were trying to say, I think the gist of it was that certain religious sects hold on to anachronistic views which modern day Islam (referring to the sect as a whole duh) upholds without any discretion. I can agree with that. But a generalization should not be made towards the entirety of Islam.

Sad. Very sad. And it's not gonna help tensions one bit... which I suppose was the point. Still, this just means extremists of all kinds are gonna have a field day. I just know certain political parties in Sweden are gonna use this to spread fear and gain voters next election. Balls... might as well prepare myself for all the "all muslims are terrorists"-counter arguments.

Sad day for all of Europe for so many different reasons.

Leaders in Western Europe and the Commonwelath don't encourage their people to take their civic responsibilities seriously as the US does... as a result executing an attack like this is easier than it should be.
