as long as you have the means to support yourself and your hobbies don't negatively effect anyone else, then what's the problem? you having a job and supporting yourself seems responsible to me.

I don't understand your problem. Your situation sounds pretty normal to me.

If it bothers you that your parents say that just move out. If you can work two jobs then you can afford an appartment. (In my country you can anyway)

Assuming you're on your own, they should have no reason to say that stuff to you. And if they do, you have every right to tell them it's none of their business what you do on your days off.

Don't worry what about your parents say, it's not like your hobby is at their expense.

Wait, what, you're paying for his bills and housing? I feel this is likely a lot more complex than just you paying for everything, but in the event that that is the case then he should find himself some work before he starts calling you lazy.

If anything, YOU'RE the one acting like an adult around the house seeing as you're the one paying off the bills. Under what grounds could they say otherwise? They sound pretty hypocritical if you ask me, assuming we know all the details here.

I have kids in their 20's.

When the weather is bad, I hang out in my PJ's, watch anime, play computer games.
At least until my wife yells at me that I need to grow up

As an aside: you pay the bills, you get to make the rules. I had that little discussion with my mom when I was 16 and helping with the bills/groceries. Growing up is not an age or how you handle your time off, it's when you can take on and handle responsibility in a mature manner.
