Been a dream of mind since I was young looks like they finally got it right this time around to make it possible to keep the doors open for more improvement to come in the future. Sli for the pc side of things and cheaper headsets will be the key for main stream vr.

Going to give it another five years for the tech to mature.

Too expensive at the moment + I am very susceptible to motion sickness.

Still largely uninteresting to me in it's current stage. I'll give it another 5-10 years before it's at the level to make me care.

Yeah how the price and everything isn't that great of deal for what its used for.

But for games on the other hand could have a good time if done right, and would see more "simple" games can be major fun for this (nothing complex) like platformer or mazes (mostly visual) and if done right it can be soo much fun.

I'm very very excited by the tech and the possibilities of it, but there's just absolutely no games announced that I care about yet.

It's cool, but not something I want to be an early adopter for. As others have it will inevitably get better and cheaper...assuming it doesn't turn out to be a fad like 3D television.

For me is how safely is the VR, your eyes need to be two feets away from the tv or in this case the "VR" that will cause eye strain and fatigue. I know the age to wear is 12 but i think it should be for 15 year old and up.

I don't really have any desire for it.

I'm currently not very interested. Though when the technology advances a bit more, maybe? We'll have to see.

For some reason wearing a VR headset freaks me out. Not the content itself, but having both my eyes and ears covered, freaks me out. I know my apartment's not dangerous or anything, I just like being aware of the world around me. It's the same reason why I can't wear headphones while in public. But that's fine, I don't feel that having a monitor and traditional control scheme is lacking to be honest.

Call me when we have holodecks.
