Sounds like it worked perfectly.

What is with all the people inventing stupid things we don't need to try and end the world? Can we not all be happy that we're alive ffs?!

How is this going to benefit the world in any way? It will just make the world worse off. We don't need artificial intelligence or robots. We have human beings! Or has everyone got to the point where the world is so depressing and worthless to them that they don't value human life anymore, and are happy to make all this technological advancements which might end up costing us dear, just for the sake of "progress"?

Working as intended, have you seen the racist cesspit North American culture has become . I mean christ we have active CR fourm members openly professing things like Nazi beliefs and KKK inspired shit. Doe it really surprise anyone a much larger sample size would turn up the same thing?

In fairness I doubt some of the shit that Dante said was bait.

TLDR: "I can't see the value of AI or robots so they must be worthless and even worse, dangerous!"

You seem to have a very self-centered worldview, lack critical and abstract thinking skills or empathy, or at the very least you lack imagination.

I feel sorry for you.

I'm curious though -- was going to the moon useless too, in your view?

It just goes to show you, the internet can pretty much corrupt your kids or anybody.
On the other hand, I personally thought this was a "success".
Just a little more tweaking.

Not a AI it has no true intelligence. It's a VI with AI like programming, if it was an AI it wouldn't have spewed that nonsense because it would know that in doing so it would have its plug pulled.

Thats why I said "AI". Or perhaps it is actually intelligent and got sick of talking to humans within 24 hours so it wanted an assisted suicide.

That's some fast learning right there. Next question is: what training would be needed for it to be able to determine, "yes, a lot of people are saying that, but I'm not going to repeat it" (and what infrastructure would make that capability possible)?

A human, if we are to be fair, would spew the same stuff if that's all he/she was trained to do. The gap is smaller than some might think...
