Hulu for example. I hate their ADS but I, at least, can watch anime a 720P or higher.

I doubt you are doing that without paying a subscription, however. Back when Hulu still listed the resolutions, 480p was definitely the highest available for non-subscribers.

Unless something recently changed, they also top out at 720p even for subscribers (so no "or higher"):

(Note this review was recent enough it covers the commercial-free option, but still lists 720p as the maximum resolution).

I am not paying and is definitely 720P or more. Because CR player when in 480P to me look like sand. While Hulu in the maximum resolution area in the video player looks better than CR. In any case is definitely better than CR player resolution.

Judging by appearance is not a reliable way to determine resolution. Don't confuse picture quality with resolution.

An anime DVD (especially one from Japan that has only 2-3 episodes on a disc) is going to be the same resolution as any 480p stream, but it will look noticeably better due to the much higher bitrate.

As I pointed out, it couldn't be "or more", as that doesn't even apply for subscribers.

Don't get technical with me. Limite knowledge over here. So that means because Hulu higher bitrate? Because I am saying CR 480p resolution look like crap to me. While me putting Hulu player in the lower option look significantly better than CR to me.

To be fair, a lot of us (myself included) can be touchy about wording that's technically inaccurate. If I know that something is brown, squishy, and smells bad, I might say it's "like crap" or "apparently crap" or a "crap-like substance"... but I would hesitate to say that it's literally crap unless I saw it coming out of CR's butt.

I wish I could remember where to find the excellent thread I saw at one point, dissecting issues such as the crappitudinesque frame rate conversion (new frame, new frame, new frame, copy of last frame, repeat) among other problems. Like the vast majority of embarrassing issues, it was never adequately addressed and cycled off the board long ago. (There's not a whole lot more you can say after you ask someone to stop putting brown squishy smelly substances on your plate, and they pretend they didn't hear you.)

I not sure if I understand your metaphor.

CR has a lot of issues with delivering videos of watchable quality, and it's sometimes hard to identify which issue(s) are causing the problem.

If you spend a fair amount of time troubleshooting you may be able to figure out why it looks like crap, but (at least since the buyout) even if you can give a perfectly-accurate description and offer a solution, the best you'll ever get is a trite non-answer that doesn't help.
