I've been told my basement is awesome. Shelves full of games, manga, toys and figures. Have a tv in there, all the game consoles, and work desk for computer and art-related stuff.

We don't go down there often.

Just think of all the fun games we can play in my dream basement!

Edit: It's either that or the Batcave, but I think the Batcave would be a bit too expensive to build...

My basement is 50% completed. The contractor stopped working around November as he claimed he was overwhelmed with other jobs. In February, I fired him because he forgot about me. Currently looking for another contractor to finish the job.

In my house at the moments my basement isn't finished, so it looks like somewhere you'd put someone that you kidnapped lol

It is not very common to have a basement here in the NW. We have a lot of rain. When I lived on the east coast I had a fully finished basement with an entertainment room, bedroom, half-bath and kitchen. It was nice, but I prefer windows

I don't have a basement, and I don't think I'd like to have one. They make me feel kinda claustrophobic

Dream Basement; grand hall of the Queen Zenobia, from RE: Revelations.

Real Basement; my parents' bedroom. I'm taking three months off from work and am living in my parents' house, before I'm scheduled for my next job in Houston, Texas. It's hilariously backwards for my parents to be the ones sleeping in the basement; however, the basement is the largest room in the house, has a bathroom in the laundry room, and even comes with a hideaway room under the porch. Plus, my mom couldn't fit her queen-sized mattress upstairs. lol

I had a plan for my basement when I had a Puppy a bit back. I was planning to put grass green colored commercial Berber carpet on the floor, full forest murals on the walls, a small doghouse, a small white picket fence and a small koi pond with circulating water down there as well as a nature sounds noise machine. That way, if we were snowed in he'd have his outdoor time to relax still. Unfortunately, he passed away before I got a chance to make it for him.
