Yeah, but they're still dealing with the fairytale of "What if I used my gun to protect me from bad people?"

Instead of the more common uses:
--In-home family shootings ("What if Cinderella took out her stepmom and sisters with an automatic?"),
and
--Disgruntled-loner shootings ("The Boy Who Cried Wolf: 'I Told You I'd Shoot, But You Didn't Believe Me!'")

Little Miss Muffet
Sat on her tuffet
eating her curds and whey
Along came a spider who sat down beside her

And blasted him with an shot to the face

^ (And the sad part is.....he DOES. )

In other NRA news:

A Change.org (snicker!) petition to bring open-carry guns to the '16 Ohio Republican Convention--despite already being questioned as a possible joke, http://www.cnet.com/news/25000-sign-satirical-petition-to-allow-guns-at-republican-convention/ --is currently being taken seriously on both sides:
Hardcore Red-staters think it's real, and have feared they'd have to enjoy their patriotic right to defend themselves from being "under attack" by "crazed violent leftist protesters", while Trump has been, quote, "studying the fine print" before allowing his support of it, since his increasing security paranoia sees an entire hall of gun-toting Bernie supporters all wearing Punisher outfits.
Okay, Trump, you can have your Republican Trump-billy supporters with their guns, or you can have your paranoid safety without guns, but you can't have both--Here's the part of politics where you've gotta piss off someone, time to choose.
