Don't get too cocky and overestimate your own abilities. I felt the consequences for this just yesterday, don't wanna talk about it yet.

Don't trust everyone who shakes your hand and smiles in your face because they might have a hand behind you trying to put a knife in your back.

College is not high school. You are probably not some intelligent slacker like you were always brought up thinking that you are. You're most likely average, and you do need to study because high school is easy mode.
I lost my scholarship because my GPA dropped like a rock.

When people ask for 'your honest opinion', they really don't want an honest opinion, I would love to say that I've learned my lesson, but . . . no.

Don't coast through life thinking that eventually you'll do "such-n-such". Be intentional. Set goals when you're young and work hard to meet those goals. Don't be distracted by things that don't support your goals in some way. As you age, you get to the point that you aren't physically able to "burn the midnight oil" or "pull an all-nighter" to complete a project. You can't physically lift, carry, walk, etc. like you used to. You can't remember things like you used to. You can't see as well as you used to (hello reading glasses and magnifying glass). And, you hit that point in your life faster than you expect.

Doing what you are supposed to be doing is quite often never rewarded and sometimes even punished. With time you either join them if you can't beat 'em (fall off the wagon: drugs, heavy alcohol use, countless short term relationships) or learn the truth that there is something special about not sacrificing who you are or what you stand even while knowing that you may be missing out on somethings in the process.

People really do suck and they don't care for other people unless it's convenient. That doesn't mean they can't, but very few do at present.
