You could plant trees in the roads here

Terrible. Lots of pot holes and the roads are rarely smooth.

Not bad, will need some patching after the frost heaves, but that's OK.

The roads in New York are paved unless you drove into a hiking trail. I personally have never seen a dirt road in the city.

The roads are absolutely terrible in New England.. despite high taxes.. The winters and the road congestion absolutely destroy the pavement. Potholes are everywhere. It's just something you have to come to accept. Driving a car with low profile tires can be stressful though hah.

Ugh. So true.. My poor subie has low profile tires and hasn't got a whole lot of ground clearance either. I'm careful, but I know I've scraped her belly a couple times.

I live in the Northeast, so our roads are full of potholes, cracks, dips, you name it. I flinch every time my car goes into a huge ditch or hits a massive bump. >.<
