Does good music help your imaginations?

Good music brings me beyond my imaginations in blissful elation.

I will give it a look. I also listen to hardstyle and jumpstyle music too! I can't do the dance but I love the music.

Glad to also see a fellow "epic music" lover as well.

I don't think music enhances my imagination so much as it helps to put me in a mood where I am better able to utilize my imagination (if that makes sense)

Yeah, theres a certain mood which doesn't come along too often where I feel like I can do anything creatively. While music doesn't bring me there on its own, it helps me get close enough to create.

Oh yes, I very often see so interesting and creative images in my head when I'm listening to music, especially if it was created by my favourite music bands That's one of very inspirative resources for me when I learn how to make different art And I'm very happy when I have an opportunity to make these pictures from my head real

You like the majority of my music, damn. Here have one more song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmT2M_vG6tY I used to do the dance, was great fun back in the day. I'll do one now.

Yes, of course it does.

Any song by this band, The National, puts me in a sci-fi mood...
This song is one specific example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2psTO8EurH0 and another song called Slipped.

Yes! Music really helps me flesh out my characters.

Ambient music does. Specifically dark ambient music like Nox Arcana and Midnight Syndicate.

Mainstream / music with lyrics actually kill my creativity. It's because I'm pretty much just listening to another person's thoughts and words, and that tends to drown out my own voice.

Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfUGtfpYzCM

It's perfect when you're writing horror.
