I think so. Music could help create the right mood for what you're trying to accomplish.

Yes, it does. I would definitely listening music everytime I'm writting. when I feels bad or bored I'll choose to listening music too. seems like it has become a habit. and I didnt choose a particular music genre as long as it is not rock or jazz thats enough for me.

Right now, I'm a intern for EA as a game designer. And I listen to music
all the time when I'm making levels and characters... Music helps me
expand my creativity and helps me focus...

In all honesty it helps me focus. When I was in high school my senior year they stopped careing about electonics because to many where being taken away and where getting over crowded. So they let them slide. So I started bringing my ipod to school every single day. I listened to it while teachers taught, during tests, homework and projects, and etc and during it all i was actuallykeeping the information in and started passing all my classes flawlessly and started to pass everything with A's and B's.

So in all honesty it helps me a lot. It even helps me with talking to other people in real life and it keeps me happy it's bassically my anti depressant lol. So listening to music plays a significant impact in my life.

If you actually listen to it. Most people I know treat music more like background noise than actually listen to it.

You also run into people that overthink it. I can think off dozens off popular songs that, when you actually know and listen too the lyrics, any ideas are so vague it's easy to make up just about any kind of meaning or premise you find handy.

I love these guys they had some far out and futuristic sounds and concepts for their time and anyone who knows me knows I'm a huge fan of these groups who had the same leader, the man in my avatar. When I want to feel energized or feel creative I put on these guys.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImI78s638hQ Parliament - Give Up The Funk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khtqLSXDjK0 Funkadelic - Knee Deep( also known as the Good Burger song and yes I can listen to the whole song)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuyS9M8T03A George Clinton - Atomic Dog

These guys hold a special place in my heart because of music and when I feel upset they make me feel better.

I'm a fiction writer, so, yes, definitely. Pretty much any upbeat music I like will work.

Music DEFINITELY helps and influences your creativity. In particular, find classical music (Lucas King for example) helps me concentrate on my art.
