Moreless the ame here.
I get an empty space where the video should be, and if I right-click on it, the Flash Player context menu pops up, but the video won't start.

I can't say ecactly, since when this problem is occuring, but about 2 weks ago it was still fine, I believe (so it could indeed be since the latest Flash Player plug-in update).
Strangely, while (internal) Flash videos won't play on some sites like Crunchyroll or Viewster, I don't experience any problems on other sites like Daisuki.
And of course Chrome isn't affected either...

Chrome uses a separate, internal version of Flash. Have you tried downgrading to an older version?

Problem solved.

Seems to have been my own fault this time, as I've been tinkering a little with some Flash settings recently. Had to go to the Global Storage Settings panel on the Macromedia website and check "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer". Also updated Flash to version 21.0.0.213. Seems to work fine now.

Still hope that Crunchyroll will get an HTML5-player in the near future...

Are you running any no-script or ad-blocking add-ons? Or maybe a software firewall with such functionality?

I was having the same problem until I upgraded to this version of flash. Now the video plays, but won't go full screen. When I do, i see an icon for flash in the task bar and if I click on it, the video starts playing again. Also works fine in Chrome. I have adblock+ but I tried turning it off and it made no difference
Firefox ver 45.0.1
Windows 10 Build 14295 (Redstone 1 preview release)

*edit*

Tested with funimation.com and youtube. Same problem on Funimation but youtube works fine.

My laptop seems to have gotten Flash 20.0.0.213 and it is working. Weird, because on my other computer running 197 I went directly to Adobe.com and downloaded flash and installed it. Maybe I need to do it again

This seems to have been fixed now. CR must have done something because My Flash and Firefox haven't updated recently, unless it was the Windows 10 update that was a few days ago
