It's okay. I still tear up just thinking about certain anime scenes. Give yourself some time to heal.

I just finished watching your lie in April for the first time a few days ago. plenty of the sadder anime out there have made me tear up but your lie in April hit me the hardest. When you find out what the lie is and everything regarding that specific scene I was balling my eyes out uncontrollabley. Even as of now if I listen to the openings or endings I get all teary eyed. I watched a couple YouTube reactions and was disappointed as it hit me so much harder then it did for them lol. I guess that's because people react to things in different ways. If someone saw me when I watched the end you'd think I lost a family member or someone.

I remember the first episode I even teared up. That ending was pretty hard on the feels too, I remember going to work the next day in a depression just out of it thinking about it lol.

Anohana was another one that hit me really hard. There's this really good YouTube video that goes in depth into the opening scenes pointing out a lot of details that are easy to miss. Look for "what's in an op anohana" theres also a video by the same maker for the your lie in April first opening too that's really interesting/sad.

and why am i rewatching it?

I honestly thought the romance in Angel Beats was highly insufficient and sudden, lacking development that wasn't coerced to the point of emotional exploitation. I'm pretty stupid, so I may have miss the cues of development, but I noticed none.

I found the channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBs2Y3i14e1NWQxOGliatmg

I'm impressed by the amount of hidden information they manage to put into a 1:30 minute video. I will surely take a closer look on OPs and EDs from now on.

Yeah there are lot of really cool things on that channel, such as breaking down that one scene in erased when Satoru and Kayo meet in the park at night, so many little details that are missed that make it so much more meaningful/cool. The school live! Opening also has a lot of details that are easily missed considering how misleading it is to the actual show.
