Good morning CR community,

I sent this suggestion to some CR admins about a year ago, but I never heard anything back from them, so I thought I would share it here. I am hoping others agree, or could make some suggestions of their own. If this is a popular enough topic, it could maybe come up on CR's radar for consideration.

********

Good evening sir/miss,

I was wondering if there was a forum or location where we can make improvement suggestions? I am currently finding it hard to manage my queue due to the quantity of shows I keep on it.

I would like to suggest the following -

2 queues, where one if an active queue, and one is a completed queue. If a show in the completed queue gets another season or update, it moves to the active queue.

Another option may be a further reduction in the list size for the existing queue. Right now you can expand to see video list, but I would like to have options to shrink it to just show the show title - if it gets an update or pending one, it expands to show the standard panel.

I would like to share these in the appropriate area, as I am sure I am not the only person who likes to keep track of all the shows they watched. :)

I appreciate your time, thanks in advance for your assistance!

Just make a list for stuff in your queue... It's better that way...

All I got to say.

I don't think your ideas are bad, but I don't think CR is all that interested in creating a comprehensive queue. They seem rather satisfied with a real basic set-up for whatever reason. That said, there are other non-CR solutions available that can do the job.

I would use something like MyAnimeList (MAL) (http://myanimelist.net/) to keep track of the shows you've watched. There are other sites like it, but basically it's a site set up to track what you've watched or are watching now, and so on. The people over at Reddit's anime forum swear by it.

Here's the thing, though. I'd say that the most requested improvement in this feedback forum is Enhancements For The Queue. And it does actually worry me that no only has nothing ever changed but there's been no hint that they're even paying attention.

To their own "please give suggestions" forum.

Which is worrying.

Thanks for the response SylveonLuna, I appreciate it.
I will probably use MAL like Hairbelly suggested to keep tabs on things. Especially, considering that I use multiple services, it would be a broad encompassing solution. I am just one of those people that is always looking for efficiency or process improvements.

Hairbelly, thanks for the information and site link.
I will be looking into this now as a solution for my ever growing watch list and my slowly eroding memory.

If they're "known issues", that removes any need to fix them - or respond to people asking about them - or even acknowledge that they exist (with a response, or even a FAQ). But if you're a jerk like me and repeatedly bring them up while people are paying attention, you might get a (emphasis added)...

All of the issues brought up in these posts are known and documented. I'm not in a position to comment beyond this, but I do very much appreciate you sharing them. I'm sorry to hear the manga service has been less than your expectations lately.

(For the record, I have no special reason to believe the wording was an Arnold Schwarzenegger Special. But it's darkly amusing to think so, and from the tone of the rest of the response, it might as well have been.)
