I finally saw episode 2 today .
I was out on vacation last week and didnt have time to myself.

But I really like this little backstory of Prompto ...but man , whats up with that name

Although insecure he is with his looks since the prince is good looking but he just wants to be worthy and dont disappoint the lady. I guess it took him a couple more years after that

Episode 3 is now out on Youtube.

Episode 3

This time, the focus is on Gladiolus and how Noct got to become bros with him seeing that they didn't get along with each other back when they first met. It all started back when his sister Iris wanted to see Noct, but while that was happening she was chasing a cat through the garden and went missing. Noct went outside for a "walk" to find her, and decided to cover for her. But Iris told the truth about what happened, and from that point on Gladdy and Noct got along very well. That was a cute story there seeing Iris getting all curious and all.

It's gonna be nice seeing Iris and Noctis interact in the game, the anime is actually doing a good job of making me care for the characters before its release. Now just episode 4 to go.

Episode 4

And now, and episode about Ingis as he used to take care of Noct, which includes eating right. Noct used to eat nothing but junk food as he tried his hand at cooking, and failed miserably. But it is that effort that made Ingis realize that he's cut out for living on his own rather than at the palace. Ingis makes a great father figure. So with that, there's one more episode left to go, and then one after that that focuses on Lunafreya, but it is exclusive to the Ultimate Collector's Edition.

Episode 5

After being sidetracked by all those character background stories, it gets back to the matter at hand back at the end of the first episode as Noct and company are fighting against a giant snake woman. This battle is reminiscent of that battle from years ago when Noct was critically injured and his father ended up defeating that monster. This time, Noct has matured quite a lot and after being knocked off the cliff and into the ocean, he collects himself and launches a counterattack to defeat the snake. And it's off to the city or somewhere else where they can slaughter some more monsters. That was a solid way to wrap things up in this series that gets me ready for the game coming out.

Another great episode. I'm glad they defeated that daemon. Don't know should i consider it as a clichè but: "MC's hidden power awakens - clichè".
Somehow that reminds me of Pokémon Origins Ep 4.

And that's a wrap. Shame that Ep 6 (the final) is exclusive to Collectors Edition. And they're already out of stock. Damn.

Oh well, can't wait for the game!

There's a sixth? Damn, someone will upload to YouTube I'm sure and assume is based on Luna but I enjoyed this mini series more than I thought I would. All the characters are likable which is rare for a FF game.

According to Wikipedia, yeah. But yes, that occured to me too. Someone will probably upload it on Youtube. And that 6th episode focuses on Luna but probably know it already.

You know, i almost forgot that this exists. As i was playing FFXV one day, i remembered this. Since it's been a long time when i first watched this, i decided to rewatch it.

All i can say, well worth it. Having played the game for some time, i now understand all that stuff in the anime better, whenever it's the Royal Arms or Warp-Strikes.
