Post Reply It's senior year of highschool. What car were you driving and what favorite songs were you playing?

Since we don't get drivers' licenses until the age of 18 it was very rare for anyone to be driving, only about 0.5% drove. My independent transportation was my own two feet.

It's been a while but this would have been my ride back in highschool:





As for favorite songs I wouldn't be able to play any songs because I don't have a freaking car stereo much less a freaking car. I would probably be humming something from Nirvana or Metallica though. I hate school. I think I'm going to skip today.

Oh, you'll don't get a drivers license until you're 18 there? I didn't know that. I got mine when I turned 16 but it didn't do me any good since I didn't have a car. I think I finally bought my first car when I was 19. I saved up and paid 800 dollars for it. It felt really good to be able to actually pay for my first car on my own. It felt like freedom.

Yes, even in the Caribbean it was the same. You had to be 18 to be able to drive.
