So far I’m disappointed with the lack of seriousness in the show and the animation style.

+1

I loved the ambiance / atmosphere in the first season. This one is too.... bright and cheery

That said, Michelle K. Davis is still bae

You all can say what you want, but this episode was really awesome. It was one of my favorite parts in the manga, and they did a pretty good job.

It's starting to get serious again. Mothman and Antwoman give a massage to Antwoman's father's clone, while at the same time Birdman throws the opening pitch to get the Sacred Blade to the chosen one. Doctor Octopus realizes that not everyone's on the same page, but the damage is done. Mothman sets up to go Enter the Dragon on the Shaolin Master of Bullets.

I'd heard this episode featured Michelle who is just my absolute favourite character from the series so despite my misgivings I decided to watch. Holy crap what a train wreck! Machina Ex Vibrosword? Could this iteration get any worse?! (Don't answer that.)

Ep 6

Terraformars is at its best when it is mixing action with character motives and backstory. These last couple episodes have been pretty good, actually. Alexander had a great story, and it looked like his death wasn't a complete waste since he was able to stow away an anti-terraformar blade in a missile for Akari. Nice to see him and Michelle back in the action. Next week looks like more Michelle, which is always a good thing.

In today's episode of Cockroach Wars, Mothman and Antome continue their epicurean battle against their fated opposition, revealing Antome's torrid relationship with her progenitor and Mothman's sordid history with doorsteps. Birdman pitches in, but is benched when the situation escalates JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS OVER. Next time, on Cockroach Wars: Power Level 1,000,000?!

As much as the second season sucks it was worth watching this episode to see my favourite character be her badass self. Learned more about her in one episode than the entirety of season one.

Ep 7

Michelle had some nice moments here. It's easy to forget that the Mars crew is going to have a tough time adjusting to normal life if they succeed in their mission. It'll be tough to have friends or a job when you occasionally grow horns from your head and have superpowers. That said, I get Michelle had a personal beef with the Paraponera terraformar, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to be taking them on alone. With less than 100 humans left it'd be silly to die against a single enemy because of personal issues. But she kicked ass so everything is fine.

Akari's epic entrance.

My thoughts on the 2nd season are clearly that the show suffered a very rough and slow start like several shows do sometimes. People bashed it unnecessarily, as if someone paid them off to negatively publicize the show. The show is legitimately back to normal. Everything is exactly the way it was in season 1, minus the completely removed gore and barbie scene (de-censored now?). Those slapstick comedy manga scenes are all gone now, I bet they heard the cries of the people on that one. Quite sad that people don't give it a chance just because of some off moments early on, but considering the rather weak selection of spring shows, this is one of the better stories.

The Akari fight was pretty lame I have to say.

Wow! ...just finished season 1 and was really gettng into it, now to see this 2nd season opener - What the hell?? Yes, some of the storylines kinda dragged in the last season, but the epic fights, interesting powers and Adolf were awesome!! What have they done to this potentially great story? It suddenly feels like the majority of anime I avoid due to the ridiculous japanese sex issues, obsessions with boobs and super magic anime powerups for no reason! Aghhh! Why? It was one of the only recently produced adult'esque animes out there, now it floats freely with all the other shit in the toilet. Booooo!!

Oh I give it chance but for comedy purposes.

Ep 12

One of the more intense fights in the series, with Reiji and Xi reluctantly teaming up to take down, of all things, a honey badger terraformar. Things really aren't looking good for either crew though. The "civilian" members that are trying to hack the annex relay tower are out of time, Akari and Michelle are in the middle of nowhere and Liu is still attempting to murder them. I'm not sure how everything is going to be concluded in a single episode, but I'm hoping there will be some sort of revenge waiting for the Annex 1 crew (minus Hong) for all the chaos they caused.

Reiji's asking the important questions.
