Ohhhh ya! While I was in High School there was this girl who, after a false rumor spread, pretty much had no friends, sat alone during lunch, and worked on her school work alone. One day word got out that she liked me. However, I was already interested in another girl who I've had a crush on for some time. So I politely declined her offer and started dating my crush. To this day I still remember the look on her face. The rest of my High School years, she looked like the saddest person on the face of the earth. Fast forward to graduation and she ends up moving, finding someone new, and is happily married. As for me, my crush ended up being the most psychotic person I have ever met and I've been single ever since. I guess I deserve it though, I'm just glad she found happiness.

I'd have to say I regret not proposing to my last girlfriend; however, if she still would up leaving me then it would have made that break up much worse. So I guess its that I regret not knowing how things could have ended down that road.

I have my regrets but I've learned from them, as painful as they can be they are somewhat necessary for human beings to learn and grow

To answer the question I'll just quote a passage from 光と風と夢 (Hikari to Kaze to Yume / Light, Wind and Dreams) by the great Japanese author Nakajima Atsushi:

"Not once have I regretted the things that I did, I only ever regret the things that I did not do."
