I kinda had to learn it early due to molestation and rape under the age of 10..so I kinda knew shit, also my mom being a nurse she just told me, no hesitation, as for getting my period, I got it at 11, we had alredy talked about it way before then, I didn't freak out or anything just went to the nurse and got a tampon, walla, continued my day

I was in 7th grade and it didn't come from my Mom or Dad. I showed up in school and we were told that we got to "program" our own class schedule with "some restrictions". Well when I got my printed out schedule there was a class called "Health" on it with no other mention except the coolest coach in school was teaching us. The ones of us that got the class thought it was some sort of gym class extension but had no clue why. I show up to find the class composed of 29 girls and 5 guys including myself. At the time, my friend and I were the two shyest boys in school (voted by the student body, I was only 3 votes behind him lol). Well. the coach starts with "for those of you who don't know this is sex ed...and you've all been sold out...err...I mean signed up by your parents. If your parents didn't sign you up for this put your hands up." nearly every hand went up. "now those of you who realize your parents have sold you out put your hands down." About half the hands went down. "Now those of you who refuse to believe your parents signed you up for this can put your hands down now because they did and it's time you accept the fact". He followed up by telling us he was drafted too lol. As the newest teacher on staff he was told if he wanted to keep his job he needed more hours and this was the only class available (he was a very openly honest guy lol).

Week two, two of the guys began skipping class. Week three another joined them. Leaving the two friggin shyest guys in the school in a sex ed class with 29 girls. It wasn't as pleasurable as harem comedies make it out to be lol .

I guess back in 4th grade when they taught us Sex ED. And yes, I said 4th grade. The 1990s was a very different time. Now a days parents freak out at the thought of Sex ED in grade school.

Never got the talk. At least not really from parents. I've been in chatrooms (mIRC anyone???) since I was like 12. Which was 15 years ago...

I never got the talk, as I see most people haven't either. I already knew where babies came from since I was in kindergarten because of my classmates. Didn't know how it actually went down though until high school through my classmates- again.

And when my mom found out I first had sex she decided to talk to me about it and she was shocked to realize I actually knew more about it than her

I think its great this is such an open topic in society, because when my cousins came from a third world country to america we discovered they were so severely uneducated in sex that it was scary.

Somehow the 'sex thing' became clear to me way before the 'puberty thing'.

I never did. The school taught us that stuff before that kind of thing happened.
