I'm starting to feel like these "lack of content" posts are jokes. If you really can't find anything to watch from crunchyroll's catalog then you're probably not going to find anything anywhere (granted I have no idea what is or isn't available in other countries). Of course they aren't going to get every show every season, no legitimate site is going to. Really can't imagine what reason there is to complain.

crunchyroll stop being dictator when people discuss about how you lack anime content. We know there a lot of good anime out there, and we know it not on your website. I enjoy a subscription with you because you actually license and support the animes unlike other sites. I need an answer what does your company lack in getting better anime. Why is so hard for you to get good anime contracts from Japan. I know you partly own by Tv tokyo which is a major anime production in Japan. So this should allow for better access to better anime but it not. Hey if you need help with the business let me take a look at business politics and maybe I can solve it for you. Maybe I can help with your subscription base and make you more money. If you don't do something soon, I think hulu may beat you because I talk with one of their representatives and they are potentially may invest more money in anime and netflix might do the same thing.

Then why not create your own site? It's really easy for people to criticize things they don't know anything about. If you really believe you can do it better then give it a shot. Who knows, maybe you'll succeed. If so I'd definitely support your site. Shows cost money. I know that Crunchyroll bids on nearly every single anime that comes out but it's not up to them if the other companies decide not to accept their bids. You can only throw so much money at every single show. I'm sure there's a lot going on behind the scenes that we know nothing about. Their catalogue continues to grow and is improving each season. From where it started I think it has come a long way. Hulu never has much of anything I want to watch and what they do have comes from Funimation anyway and both CR and Funimation are both a lot cheaper. Netflix is a joke when it comes to anime. I refuse to pay twice as much for HULU and put up with their commercials and I absolutely refuse to pay even more money to sort of, kind of but not really get their "commercial free' version. It's like paying people extra for doing the job they should have been doing in the first place and it's not good practice. It just sends a message that you can get more out of people if you do a bad job or are lazy. Imagine being so lazy that you get a raise so you'll work a little bit harder. No thank you. That is not the kind of company or people I want to support. I don't care if Hulu one day has every animation on this planet, they will never again get my money. And that's not even taking into account all of their technical problems such as insane lag or buffering issues.

am i just too chill, happy there's a ton of anime i can watch for next to nothing? because i fail to see what people keep complaining about. would i like CR to get Corpse Party and One Punch Man? sure! but i get why they have a lot of teen content, it's what makes money and therefore is what the anime industry churns out the most. i'm sure if you search you'll find gems on this site. Or, you could always just buy the DVDs, or perhaps check out other online sites like FUNimation. unless i'm misinformed CR isn't holding us Otaku's at gunpoint forcing us to stay. you can suggest changes, but this constant 'i want this now or else' is really petty.

Hulu and Netflix got more money anyway because they have movies and tv series on there, besides anime....while CR just focuses on anime/dramas/manga.

Does anyone know how to suggest Anime for them to add? I, for one, have an anime I'd like to see, that isn't here. Maybe if they left room for feedback, they could have more to add.

i find the timing of this strange because this spring season that just started, crunchyroll has possible the best line up of new shows, the only things its missing are what? hero academia & kabaneri of the iron fortress. the winter season was a little weak but i'm loving all the new shows that just started

And what it has is great, honestly. I can definitely consider $6 a month feasible for the amount of enjoyment I get out of it. I don't watch TV anymore to be honest, its always tuned to my Nvidia Android TV. Id check you-tube, and then to crunchy-roll app for my favorite shows. I have to agree with the OP however, some anime are missing from its library and should be considered for addition - I don't expect 90% of all animes to be on crunchyroll, but I expect the ones being talked about a lot to be at least considered, or have a public forum for those who want to talk about it from watching it elsewhere. I don't have much experience with Crunchyroll, so my opinion is basically uneducated - enlighten me if there is a place where i can suggest, or talk about non-crunchy shows.

see sub-forums, like anime where people talk about most animes and the "hot" ones.
Else You got the "standard" other alt of sites (funimation and some others.. daisuki).

Here is what i have to say. I dont like CR that much. I hate shady business tactics. One thing i have always known is that u have 2 options. Pay for a subscription, or deal with adds. Thats a choice a lot of streaming sites give, And it works. Because no matter what, they are getting paid. THATS WHAT ADS ARE FOR. But not only do they do that. But they try to strong arm you into paying for a membership anyway. Even though they are getting add money from your views. They will let you watch MOST of an anime for free at SD quality WITH commercials that repeat 3 times in a row every 5-10min. But oh? You have to be a premium member if you want to watch the last 2-3 episodes. LMAO are you serious right now? U are getting add money but you do this. WELP i guess ill go look it up online. Maybe watch it on animeseason or something. Because for a bit i WAS pondering going premium to remove adds. But not now. Not after that stunt. FUCK YOURSELF CRUNCHY. You are not in it for any other reason other than greed
