Weird concept but it's off to a nice start.

Katsuhira is falling down the stairs and he's just focused on taking a peek at Sonozaki's polka dot panties? Good to see he has his priorities straight.

Animation is pretty good ,same production as Little Witch Academia.
Weird story idea, I am not sure if I am going to like it.

I dig it. That OP is awesome.

I am not a big fan of Trigger, but I really like the art style of this one. looking forward to see where this is going.

I pretty much enjoyed it for the most part but I'm not quite sure what I'm watching yet. Hopefully ep 2 will expand more on what is actually happening but so far I have no real complaints just wanna know more.

And if this flops, I'll always have Triggers other anime this season. LULUCO IS BEST GIRL!

This...was weird.

I hope Katsuhira eventually gets a personality.

-I kind of like Sonozaki, Glasses and Weird Fairy Girl. If I stick with this, I think Imma gonna really like Not Kamina out of the male characters though

-I already sense romantic tension with Glasses and the Playboy, as well as Sonozaki, Chidori and Katsuhira.

This... Kinda blew. I think trigger may have peaked way too early with KLK because since then it's been kinda dissapointing. It's just so derivative in almost every way. Even the concept is derivative. A group of heroes based around the seven deadly sins? Jesus christ, the seven deadly sins are one of the most overused concepts in manga and anime. FMA, nanatsu no taizai, soul eater, ultimo, saint seiya, devilman and that's just off the top of my sleep-deprived head. It certainly does not help that the characters all feel so stock. I haven't seen such an absurd amount of characters I've seen in shit loads of anime before since I watched the asterisk war. But at least the asterisk war had the decency to shoe-horn action scenes and cute girls into the story. This is just so slow and drab and boring. It's supposed to be an action show, yet there's no action scenes in this episode. I'll give it another few episodes to redeem itself (it's happened successfully before) but if it continues down this road then I am dropping it like it's hot

was just wondering but is this limited to physical pain or can they also feel each others emotional pain?

I'd like to offer something to ponder. In Sonozaki's exposition she does list the Seven Deadly Sins but then says the list needs to be updated for the modern world. She then lists out a set of well-worn character tropes used in just about every anime. I believe what Trigger is saying is that these character tropes represent modern anime's Seven Deadly Sins. A list of character archetypes anime and its assorted sources draw from time and time again. Trigger then creates a scenario where these characters are linked, sharing each other's pain. While not a new idea I will wager Trigger's goal will be to use this as a mechanism to explore and overturn the tropes.

In KLK Trigger takes one of the most overused plot tropes: child seeking revenge for the death of a parent, the most overused character tropes: super-powered uber-cool MC, wacky sidekick, power-hungry class president, then crafts a story that defies the plot line these tropes usually play out in. It is Trigger's signature to take tropes and then own them in ways no other studio has imagined.

I'm torn. I think this anime looks like a fun experiences, but it may require more energy than I want to give to watch.

So, essentially, this show is the Enneagram. Live through Jesus, or in this case the collective Japanese consciousness, as one to feel all.

Yes, the Enneagram is 9 types, but 6 is shared and 9 is null point. Its the 7 sins as temperament.

Well, should be interesting. At least anime takes an interest in philosophy.

Well hopefully you're right about that, but I still have my suspicions. After the subversiveness of KLK was present directly in the first episode and it was fast paced and action packed. The first episode of kiznaiver was just so dull and never ending. We'll see what happens later on, but for now I don't need to re watch this.

Episode 1:

I like it so far. It appears to have much more depth that what was initially presented. The whole sharing pain, Kiznaiver system, and the re-vamp of the Seven Deadly Sins is pretty good.

I like red-hair girl so far but we all know she isn't going to win and he's going to fall for Esdeath's daughter. That being said I feel like somewhere down the road one of them might die and they will all experience death, or feel death but not die.

The concept seems good so far and the characters seem fun, they are going to have to learn to get along with each other and probably keep Katsuhira out of trouble. Since he can't feel pain but the others can.

It's visually pleasing and I thought it was a strong first episode. That OP though is pretty. Looking forward to see this develop, however I just hope CR didn't over hype this cause this can still flop

Interesting. what I think so far. As other people have said where hitting all the anime char tropes in with the main group here..

As the rubberyness and weirdness that Trigger is know for.

Curious to see where this goes..

..and bets on who will try and kill themseves first..

and that op is amazing!

Really enjoyed this. Whilst the first episode was just an introduction to the characters and the premise, the OP and ED are superb and the production value is high. They've really been pushing this, so we'll see if it's intriguing or another Chaos Head :P

Hibiku Yamamura who plays Sonozaki said that when she read for the part all she got told was that the character was "mysterious beauty" and had no further background information for the first two episodes. In interviews the cast seem pretty cagey, like they don't want to say too much and give something away.
