I'm a cynic so I probably shouldn't be responding to this but...drama sells. not to say that real awful things aren't occurring. and at that, every day. but what I'm saying is that it's up to you to find the positive in life. and I don't think you need to be a philosopher to find it. I smile whenever I see a hummingbird. If someone relinquishes their seat for the elderly. my baby when we're cuddling and she shows me her big brown eyes (she's an adorable Rat-Cha). find your own bliss. and be receptive and observant. I think that's the most important. too many people today are distracted. pay attention, you may see something that'll give you hope...bit by bit. that's how I get by. even though I'm a misanthrope, once in a while I'll witness something touching, and even if it isn't world changing it still makes me smile.

I watch anything to make me laugh, I read(I know right. I'm a nerd.), I Skype my friends, and I listen to some music.

I do drugs but only legal shit like DXM since our government clearly knows best as to what drugs are safe to use and are not to use trust in our government kids next time someone offers you a joint ask yourself what would Obama Do?

I like to not let things get to me, whenever I feel a situation is stirring negative emotions within me, I detach myself. Also I think about happy things or take a walk and I feel optimistic again. During walks when I see life moving around me, whether it be people or animals, I realize how there is more to life and how important it is to continue moving forward.

Splashing really cold water on my face works too, makes my brain wake up from the bullshit.

I always smile, even when it is hard (if you smile enough during the day it becomes easier).
And I abide by the following:

You can never have too much good music, food or drink.
Life is short, do not waste it on negative people or vibes.
Always spend time with those who make you laugh.
Make time to yourself and be honest with who you are(I have learned this is vital).
And remember, you are never too old!

The rest just falls in place. Each day is a gift!
