Two small water bottles costs $2.00 each. But one big water bottle costs $4.00. Which one do you buy?

Which one do you buy?

Both the two small water bottles, if put together, contain the same amount of water as the one big water bottle.

I would need to know the quantities of the water bottles first. So I'm not sure.

It depends. How small is small? How big is big? For what purpose do I need the water? Carrying two small bottles might be easier than carrying one. I might want to share with a friend and be able to avoid an indirect kiss I might want to use the bottle as a backup weapon so the big bottle would be better as a club, though smaller ones would be better as projectiles.

True story: In the fridge of my last apartment, there was no room for a 2-liter bottle to stand upright, so I always bought 1-liter bottles even though that cost more per liter. I got so much in the habit that I kept doing that for a long time in my new apartment before going "duh. A 2-liter bottle fits just fine in the new fridge; I'm going to save a little money."

The big one because I don't like sharing.

The heck ugh, I'll choose one big water bottle since I don't have a bag with me and would hate to carry both.

I take the big one because I get thirsty.

I'm assuming they both contain the same amount when I say the big one. If it's more realistic and the two small ones contain more total, then the small ones.

Two small would be better, for transporting and drinking on the go and such.

This depends entirely on the size of the small and large bottles. Obviously if the larger bottle holds a greater quantity than the 2 smaller bottles combined, this would be the best deal. I am all about deals. If they equivalence is the same, then I would opt for for whichever is convenient. I selected "I'm not sure" since I do not know the details

It depends on what you define as ''big'' and ''small'' tbh.
