An interesting first ep, though (IMO) it had some pretty severe pacing issues and repetitiveness. Let's hope it picks up.

Episode 2

Good episode, this one revealed All Might's true form. I was shocked when I saw it the first time as when seeing it from the manga awhile ago. Either way, the episode proved that Deku can become a hero. Exciting stuff. The OST still remains pretty good for the show as expected, pacing is fine too.

Episode 2

As it turns out, All Might has severe limitations thanks to that gunshot wound he got five years ago, so that his true form is that of a frail, skinny guy. And thanks to Izuku distracting him that he dropped that bottle with the monster, and Katsuki kicked it out. But despite not having any Quirk, Izuku shows his heroic mindset and that inpsires All Might to tough it out until the monster is defeated all going to debunk a long-standing myth. That was great to see that Izuku has so much determination and willingness to put himself in harm's way like that.

Episode 2

Episode was good with the impactful moments and such. I also like how they were realistic about not becoming a hero. Very nice

Ep. 2

Damn that was good.

I was really hoping we'd finally meet Froppy. But still gotta wait a bit longer.

How far into the Manga has the first two episodes gone? It feels like it can't be too much.

This show just feels "right." Like how a Super hero anime should be.

E2

Now that was a much better episode imo than the first - I was quite moved this time!
Nice to see the hints from episode one being revealed in this episode regarding All Might's hidden condition.

Katsuki is still an ass >_>.

I'm sure Izuku can use his heart and head to be a different (but no less important) type of hero.

Kind of hit me with this episode

You don't normally see superheroes get permanent injuries.

There was Batgirl/Oracle who was in a wheelchair but I can't think of any others.
There are plenty of characters that get just flat out killed but even after some of the most brutal fights if they survive they usually get back to 100% health.

All Might has what most would consider a Career ending injury and he's still going.

Besides the stuff I said last episode, here are my complements and critiques:

Complements:
-Showing Kacchan off more and developing him (even if it is only by a LITTLE)
-Showing that even the best hero has weaknesses

Criticisms:
-How has the city not adjusted to heroes? Was the mangaka too lazy to come up with a new looking city to adjust? This looks exactly the same as normal Japan? I mean Mt. Lady wasn't able to help because of how they didn't have roads that were clear!
-Narrating the phrase "this is the story of how I became the greatest hero" removes all tension because we know he won't die.
-They reused so many shots within this episode... I get the reason, but the screen got cluttered because of it and it seemed a little lazy
Not much else to say... Decent episode besides that.

EP 2 was so good also. Just like the first. This show is going to be good and I will mist it after 12 episodes for sure.

I think you are 100% looking too far into a shounen battle series imo. We know the main protagonist is going to become a badass.

I'm enjoying the series, but I also don't rate shows lightly... If there are ideas that don't makes sense/plot holes, I point them out. That's all it is. One thing I didn't mention is that the OP is a lot better than I initially thought. It starts off okay (first time you listen to it) but it sounds better the more you listen to it.

Plus while we know Deku might grow up fine, he's going to have a class full of likeable characters all of whom have their own fanbases. Not one of them can be considered safe.

Many heroes become great by surmounting tradgedy and failure.

Go back and look at that picture of Froppy. She's adorable

what if the path to greatness involves avenging her horrible death?

I agree with most of what you're saying but it's a bit unreasonable to expect a city the size of Tokyo to undergo massive restructuring in what seems to be the relatively short time since Quirks appeared and especially since the idea of professional heroes became established in the series' world. "Okay, let's move that 20 story building back 20 feet in case a hero who can grow gigantic comes running through." And in the case of Mt Lady she can grow larger and return to normal apparently at will. "Huh, this road is too narrow for me to fit when big. I'll just shrink down and VOILA!" If anything the criticism shouldn't be leveled at the "city" but the hero for not realizing how she could clear the obstacle.
