Ep 2:
Great episode with a good amount of development for the MC. Was cool to see him gain the respect of the spies and their leader.

I'm enjoying this show because it is a bit different with a measured pace and not set in a high school but I'm really hoping the next episode starts to paint a picture for where the story is headed because at the moment it is all a little too and-then-this-happened.

I like how at the end of EP 2 the soldiers are walking toward the opposite path of the MC'S and the fact that he remains in his spot leaving Colonel Yuuki without answering his question fully, both actions symbolizing the very thing he said before the end " I won't be a pawn that get used and thrown away" .

Great development for our naive MC here.

I'm impressed by the direction this show is taking. In the space of single episode Sakuma has developed from a naive soldier into a shrewd player of the Joker Game, proving that he can be just as cunning and ruthless as anyone else on the team. Before I wasn't sure if wanted to watch whole anime but this episode sold me on Joker Game, I think I'll see this through to the end.

Yeah, that's certrainly one way for a spy agency to gain more funding - by blackmailing the official in charge of the agency's budget.

It's a lesson all world leaders should really take to heart...

If you loved Psycho Pass then you should check out Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It's one of Production I.G's earlier works but it's still regarded as one of the greatest anime ever made.

Ghost in the Shell is a cyberpunk anime, known for it's stylish violence and esoteric philosophical musings that often border into outright existential dread. If you want a serious and well thought out anime, Ghost in the Shell is hard to top.

JOKER GAME Episode 2 – Joker Game (Part 2)

Even being so Tired ths episode was so good ! A well written executed series

Sakuma figures out Gordon's hding place for the Micro film after ge was going to kill himself . The raid which did come after thr M.P. by the CMDR Mutou. The 2nf Raid was set up by Yuuki because Mutou was spilling secrets to the Geishia girls and Yuuki was following him .He dropped his cigareette case but Sakuma finding only 3 sets of prints figured it was Yuuki because he worn a glove and is not handicapped. Just so cool.

I recommend Death Parade. Not in any way associated with Death Note (besides that it's produced by the same animation studio) but you might enjoy one reference they make.

Episode 2: Joker Game (Part 2)

Ohh nice episode. Sakuma had to think more outside the box in order to figure out where the evidence was. Plus the spies probably already knew, but they were just testing him.

Damn Colonel is like a master at these things, but I'm surprised that Sakuma deducted all of that about him based on his investigation. Really looking forward to see how their relationship develops.

That was a good scene at the end with the colonel slowly walking away while the soldiers marched past Sakuma. He doesn't want to throw away his ideals, but he also doesn't want them to get in the way. He's feeling contradicted.

Nice episode, lots of depth and I'm looking forward to seeing the other spies get some screen time and development. They still all look similar so hopefully they can give them enough personality for me to distinguish who's who

I wasn't quite sure whether I was going to continue watching this after the way the first episode concluded. However, after the development that occurred in the second...I'm definitely looking forward to these upcoming episodes now that it seems the MC has some cards on the table. All this aside from the fact that this show is a fresh new face in comparison to what has been simulcasted recently.

You might want to give Jin Roh a try then. Probably the closest thing to Joker Game that Crunchyroll has in their catalog.

I liked the twist in the second episode which allowed Sakuma to find out where the evidence was located in the household and what his report included. I'm a little surprised Sakuma was able to pick up so much about Colonel Yuuki in their first outing, but I guess it means he's learning the craft, even if he's hesitant to join the spy world still.

Ep 2

I wasn't sure about Sakuma at first. He seemed too naive and loyal to his own beliefs to truly take part in the "game" but seeing him here, I can't help but think he would make a good spy. He certainly has great intuition and instincts. Some awesome development for his character in such short time. Yuuki is still the master though, seeing as he manipulated everything from the beginning. Looking forward to seeing where the story decides to go. I'm hoping to learn more about the other spies.

Episode 3

It's WWII, and France is occupied by Germany, and an undercover exchange student under the alias Ryosuke Shimano is in the middle of it all. The GFP is coming for him after his actions to block an execution, and while he's in hiding, he was tailed. With the Germans coming, Shimano sets a trap to escape using flour dust. But as it turns out, Marie is actually a spy for the GFP who is doing it because she wants to survive. Shimano figures that would happen with his spy's mentality, and he made an ally in the Resistance leader Alain. Everything is all well, until he made the biggest miscalculation of all that Japan has allied themselves with Germany in WWII. That was some great drama there, and certainly "Shimano" had the perception to get through the danger. But now that things are getting really dicey now that Japan has entered the war as Germany's ally.
