Thanks a bunches.

So, have you ever judge a book by it's cover and turned out right? What book was it? What did you get right about it?

Enjoy!!!

I had a book called "Sketchbook" I guessed it would be a book for sketching and to my utmost surprise I was correct.

I'm not sure if you are purely referring to books or using the "judging a book by its cover" in a metaphor. If you are referring to the metaphor then I did have an opposite case where I judged an anime series by it's title picture to be bad and turned out to be very wrong. My case was judging Hunter x Hunter to be a kid show or something I wouldn't enjoy but I gave it a try and turned out to be very wrong. I really enjoyed the series and thanks to that I learned to try more series rather than immediately drop it without trying it.

Jokes on you I don't read books.

But I really want to get back into it, so I recently checked out a book from the library.

While I look at the cover, I always read the first three pages of a book while standing in the bookshop. That usually tells me whether I will read it to the end or not. When buying online, I'm pretty hit and miss at picking good books.
