I take good care of my stuff. My stuff tend to last years. I have a two and a half year old bluetooth earbud set paired with my three and a half year old Samsung tablet.

Earbuds have lasted as little as me getting them home and immediately snapping in half.
You'll notice I wear a headset instead of earbuds.

Earbuds last about a year for me tops if I take good care of them. On average probable somewhere between 6-8 months. Headphones usually last a few years, and headsets last me about 1-2 years since I use them so often.

Two years on average if they don't get lost or stepped on first.

Have a pair of RE-0's that've lasted about two years, despite people saying the build quality was sub-par. Also using a pair of CX280's which have been with me for around the same amount of time.

But my NE-6's lasted around... what, 8 months? And I only really used them for two out of those eight or whatever months. That was disappointing.

ear buds, about 8-9 months. Ill only get Sony or Beats. My beats actually just fucked up........ The left ear bud kicked out, sometimes if I wiggle the wire into a certain place it will kick back in . Now im just using my actual headphones, if you take care of those they will last a lifetime.

Month isn't even bad. I had a pair that lasted 2 weeks and another more expensive one that I lost in 1 week.

On top of that I tend to go through headphone cords pretty effectively. <.<

My current ones are coming up to two years, now. It's surprising, since these are currently my longest lasting ones, and I haven't been treating them well enough to justify them lasting this long. They're slowly dying, though. The sound occasionally craps out, so I reckon I'll definitely have to get new ones by the end of the year. On average, though, I'd say mine usually last around a year, or so.

I have two sets of headphones. I have my earbuds an my noise canceling over the ear headphones. The first last 2-3 years normally and the second have lasted as long as 8 years. Both are from Bose. The noise canceling ones I take greater care of than the earbuds. The earbuds get thrown in my gym back, my backpack, my hoodie pocket, used at the gym, in the coffee shop, etc. They get beat to hell but usually hold out great. The only time I had to replace them early was because my new puppy decided he wanted a snack lol.

I lost mine yesterday a month after buying them :C
